• PDT Detailed Energy Assessment study for "Saudi Aramco".
• Harad GOSP II Detailed Energy Assessment study for "Saudi Aramco".
• Compressors database and efficiency calculation study for "Saudi Aramco".
The main objective of this study is to build a database for all process compressors (Gas compressors including compressors in refrigeration cycles and air compressors) in Saudi Aramco and to demonstrate the overall magnitude of potential energy consumption savings.
• Development of Pump load Management Software.
Review the pump design assumptions and size selection to evaluate compatibility to system requirement. Also to optimize operating conditions.
• Mathematical model for Turbines performance analysis.
Simulate the feed gas composition and the operating conditions of gas combustion turbines to analyse the performance.
• Development of Thermodynamic Properties Tool.
utilize Peng Robison equation of state to calculate the thermodynamic properties like compresibility factor, volume, enthalpy and entropy of mixture of gases.
• Performing material and energy balances as well as process simulation (on Excel or Hysys) to insure feasibility of identified initiatives and retrofits.
• Perform process equipment conceptual sizing and coordinating with vendors to obtain detailed sizing and cost.
• Developing conceptual process design drawings and documents for retrofit projects and new projects design reviews.
• Collecting and validating process data.
• Preparing reports & presentations.
• Coordinating projects and communicating with clients.
As a member of ASORC engineering team, my responsibilities include:
• Analyzing process deviation in order to recommend solutions.
• Giving reports about the different equipment in the unit.
• Preparing data and define the scope of work for the futuristic units.
• Conducting performance tests of the new equipment through the unit.
• Process design calculations, Economic studies, Evaluations of proposals.
• Finding creative solutions in order to guarantee the process optimization.
• Representing ASORC at different conferences and workshops.
• Participated in the revamping process of the phosphoric acid production unit by PRAYON.
• Two weeks training by PRAYON Belgian experts.
Developing a Mathematical Model for a Petroleum Refining Process, UOP Isomerization Process (PENEX).
