Mobilize resources and monitor initiatives to achieve biodiversity and climate objectives in Africa
Develop and implement country-specific strategies for enhancing climate resilience aligned with
PACJA's objectives.
Advocate for climate-resilient policies and mainstreaming adaptation into national development plans.
Provide capacity-building and technical assistance to local communities and organizations for climate adaptation.
Build partnerships and networks with stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise for resilience efforts.
Monitor and evaluate climate resilience projects, mobilize funding, and collaborate with PACJA's regional and thematic teams for cohesive action
Identify and secure funding opportunities from donors for environmental projects in Somalia.
Manage grant applications, budgets, and reporting to ensure compliance and proper fund utilization.
Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness about environmental issues.
Cultivate partnerships with stakeholders and represent the association in relevant forums.
Monitor project progress, evaluate impact, and provide capacity-building support to staff and partners
Lead planning, implementation, and monitoring of relief and rehabilitation projects in Somalia.
Manage project teams, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies and NGOs, for effective project coordination.
Ensure compliance with donor requirements, budget oversight, and resource management.
Assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report project progress to stakeholders.
