• Performance of process walkthroughs to build a strong understanding of key processes and identify key risks and controls.
• Apply risk and control concepts to assess control design and developing a test approach of the key controls.
• Draft and review internal audit work papers and reports for discussion with the Internal Audit Management Team and senior management that are supported by the work performed.
• Lead audits and provide guidance to staff in the execution of assigned tasks, including monitoring the progress and quality against stated audit objectives, department metrics and audit requirements.
• Assisting in imparting training to other team members to enhance their practical audit approach and knowledge.

• Lead audit engagements covering line of technology including risk assessments, audit planning, audit testing, directing audit staff, control evaluation, audit report drafting, and follow-up and verification of issue closure.
• Management of client relationship to ensure smooth operations of assurance assignments.
• Constantly development of understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing of knowledge to develop junior colleagues.
• Imparting training to other team members to enhance their practical audit approach and knowledge.
• Develop recommendations to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.

• Maintaining books of accounts.
• Preparing of monthly and annual financial statements as per IFRS(s) & management accounts.
• Devised monthly actual vs. budget variance tracking and reporting system.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws & regulations formulated by regulator.
• Tracking of accounts receivables and accounts payable on a regular basis.
• Coordinating with the foundation’s banker.

• Assisting in leading fieldwork, performance and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements.
• Assessment & identification of higher-risk areas and performing audit procedures accordingly.
• Attending of several training sessions and platforms, relating to audit and assurance, offered by the firm and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
• Participating in audit team sessions for discussion of complex matters relating to assurance assignments.
