Act as an information management/data focal point for the Durable Solutions Unit.
-Develop reports and infographics using available data from field surveys, Information Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) databases and other sources to highlight legal, protection and other trends relevant to NRC’s Core Competencies (including Education, Shelter and Livelihoods).
-Liaise with IM Officers in NRC country offices to collate data relevant for durable solutions, protection and return trends and developments from ICLA as well as from other Core Competencies.
-Provide presentations on data trends and analysis to MERO, Country Offices (COs) and external stakeholders, including UNHCR and other agencies.
-Assist with data inputs for research products under regional MERO grants, particularly the UNHCR funded research project.
-Provide advice to MERO on effective usage of digital technology within ICLA programmes including the use of databases, GIS, apps, social media or other technology for ICLA service delivery to beneficiaries
-Provide technical support to IM Officers in Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon as necessary.
-Archive and backup database systems; ensure the security of databases; perform database administrator functions.
- Undertake any other reasonable task assigned by management
• Support the formulation of the monitoring plans to address indicator reporting requirements;
• Provide technical guidance on the design of data capture processes;
• Supervise data capture processes to ensure they are implementation according to plans and agreed standards;
• Provide analysis of information and data to address indicator reporting requirements;
• Maintain CC files, data bases, and other archives documenting project progress;
• Provide training and support to NRC and partner staff on data capture, analysis, and use;
• Maintain the CC specific portion of data capture, analysis, and warehousing platforms (e.g. Mobenzi and BOX) is well organized and accessible;
• Ensure compliance with NRC data policies;
• Liaise with other units on areas of common responsibility
• Archiving and filing of all distribution documents upon completion after consolidation between various teams and in coordination with the Team Leader
• Support the distribution team with the scheduling and planning of staffing tables
• Management of data base and tracking sheets and generation of final distribution reports
• Monitor the data input on the master reporting sheet
• Provide output in correct format for monthly report
• Liaise closely with M&E in Amman to ensure correct indicators are being collected
• Provide data for SMT and GORS
• Monitor the log frame and key indicators
• Monitor key activity budget lines
• Monitors the progress of activities of assigned daily labour and or contractors and ensures they are implemented conform planning and quality standards.
• Develops own weekly activity planning.
• Adheres to NRC policies CC tools, handbooks and guidelines.
• Prepares and files accurate records of project activities and ensures all information is accurate and available in time.
• Reports protection concerns to line manager (s).
Norwegian Refugee Council is in the process of a rapid start-up of an urban host community shelter intervention program with purpose to increase and improve the availability of affordable housing opportunities for Syrian refugees in host communities.
•Support the Projects Coordinator in ensuring that program activities are timely planned, implemented, reported. All upon the request of the SPO.
•Monitor the staff rotation between different projects including tracking the of sick, annual leaves as well as coverage during the public holidays and maintain timesheets accordingly and submit to Projects Coordinator and HR / finance officer in Amman as required by donors.
•Collect and assess output and project data, where relevant
•Provide support to the administrative functions of the Department as necessary.
•Coordinating activity to support Shelter project officer and team leaders, and facilitating meetings and producing key project documentation.
•Maintain documentation and record keeping on all relevant operational, administrative and financial issues
•When requested, coach and train newly recruited Project support assistant.

DATA ENTRY
• Registering refugees through the UNHCR RAIS registration system.
• Supporting the Team Leader in delivering NFIs for new arrivals.
• Preparing data reports and analysing information based on registration data.
DISTRIBUTION
• Distributing NFIs for NRC during the day/night shift, at the NFI distribution centre
• Supporting the Team Leader in delivering NFIs for new arrivals.
• Directly managing distribution processes as assigned by the Team Leader
