* Ownership for 15 Telecom Contracts between Vodafone Egypt & 3 main vendors (Ericsson /Huawei/Siae) and 12 Telecommunication Contractors.
* Responsible for financial planning, budget and tracking of product and service expenses.
* Negotiate rates for services with the vendors & contractors to meet the financial objectives.
* Evaluate contractors' performance and develop list of accredited contractors year over year.
* Develop a unique contractors management process where all the company policies and procedures are applied.
* Manage all the purchase requisitions released from the Roll Out department.
* Approve payments for all the contractors/suppliers.
* Maintain solid and fruitful relationships with the contractors & suppliers.
* Create internal SLAs for the stakeholders and manage the internal process between departments (Procurement, Finance, Legal, Decision Support, Fixed Assets, Logistics, Custom Clearance, Warehouse) to catch the RO targets.
* Select vendors/suppliers for purchasing all types of construction and radio materials.
* Manage budget of EGP 500M EGP required to cover the Roll Out & Maintenance civil activities.
* Develop effective relationships with the strategic and potential suppliers to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targets.
* Responsible for long term agreements, construction contracts, consignment contracts and technical bids in coordination with the SCM.
* Lead cross-functional special projects planning, implementation, resources management, project progress reporting, quality assurance & control till project closure.
* Evaluate and improve vendors'/contractors' performance for production scheduling activities, delivery, quality & cost and report suppliers scorecard performance.
* Inspect suppliers’ manufacturing facilities & ensure that quality meets standards, capacity meets demand, maintenance techniques meets capabilities & the suppliers comply with VF Health & Safety procedures.
* Develop and communicate material management policies and procedures to the department and develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the material management operations.
* Ownership for the Maintenance Contract Management and Development of the performed activities year over year.
* Manage the Maintenance Contractors who perform electro-mechanical preventive & corrective maintenance over 5, 000 mobile stations among Egypt & committed for keeping them ‘on air 24x7'.
* Evaluate & approve projects quotations technically & financially, assign tasks to maintenance contractors, monitor work progress & minimize Mean Time To Repair faults.
* Create development plans and manage sites power & construction related projects, provide technical support & solutions for installation, commissioning & operation.
* Perform quality audit site visits, develop KPIs for maintenance contractors, evaluate their activities & performance, taking the necessary needed action with them according to an agreed process.
* Manage the Maintenance department OPEX projects and ensure that it is within the agreed budget & create opportunities for savings.
* Analyze sites performance & apply solutions for increasing network availability related to power stability at sites to decrease MTTR (Utility power, solar/wind power, generators …).
* Lead the Material Planning team to support the Maintenance department activities & provide technical solutions for installation & configuration.
Sites Operation & Maintenance:

* Responsible for the electromechanical corrective & preventive maintenance of 800 GSM mobile station sites 24/7 basis, covering the Red Sea & Upper Egypt regions through outsourced maintenance contractors.
Sites Quality Auditing:

* Define, document & implement Quality Control system to cover the preventive maintenance activities done to Vodafone BTS sites, verifying compliance to the established processes & initiating necessary course corrections and ensure their closure.
Sites Development:

* Responsible for power & civil enhancements, technical & financial approvals for projects’ offers, managing outsourced contractor's teams, through initiating work orders, resources allocation, scheduling of work orders & work progress monitoring.
Cost Control:

* Lead the Cost Control team revising the maintenance contractors invoices with respect to the contract BOM & the approved budget.
Materials Planning & Scheduling:

* Responsible for materials technical reviewing, forecasting & ordering GSM materials, construction equip. & electro-mechanical spare parts for supporting the Maintenance plans for repairing all types of site faults in the network.
* Manage the inhouse Material Planning Team working (24/7) responsible for all types of materials transactions serving the maintenance dept. & auditing contractors' warehouses.
* Responsible for the maintenance of all VF sites powered by solar energy all over Egypt.
* Forecast RF & electro-mechanical spare parts, required for supporting the Maintenance Dept. plans for repairing all types of BTS sites faults & enhancements for 2, 000 GSM sites.
* Expand the Vodafone network preventive maintenance scope with a good understanding of the MRP point of maintenance & reducing the ineffective spending.
(Apply inventory control & improving materials management & handling methods.
* Control materials among 10 supervised warehouses.
* Generate progress statistical reports covering corrective & preventive maintenance activities, materials transactions, consumption & cash flows.
* Periodic follow up on preventive maintenance activities plans vs. targets.
* Follow up on GSM sites enhancements & fault fixings.
* Prepare the technical specifications & guidelines book for Vodafone GSM Network.
* Manage the release of RF materials to the construction contractors.
* Perform audit visits on sites during the construction phase & evaluate contractors' works.
* Perform audit visits on factories manufacturing facilities, analyze & report the point of strength & weakness of their products.
* Site Acceptance, surveying, auditing & acceptance of Vodafone BTS sites during network construction.
* Training program on LAN, WAN & internet protocols.
* Training program on "Cisco, 3-Com" hubs, switches & routers".
* Training program on wireless communication systems, frequences & radars.
