Purpose of this job:
1) Manage devices & SIM management platforms Dev. / Ops and its integration.
2) Manage SIM card / handset /Devices Testing & Certification
3) Manage set the architecture, dimensioning, and development of SIM/ Handset platforms/ infrastructure (OTA/ ADM/ HDM/ ICM)
4) Manage ICT / Enterprise projects development / Integration such as (Smart Metering - Smart water Metering - New capital smart projects, …etc.)
5) Responsible for manage all SIM/handset activities related to commercial projects starting from concept initiation till the commercial launch
Duties and responsibilities
• Study & validate concept documents received from commercial business owner and make a complete feasibility study for different projects ( SIMcards, eSIM, ADM, ICM, HDM & OTA).
• Work closely with the suppliers on hardware capacity, high availability, hardware redundancy, system and network security aspects, testing and benchmarking for SIM, Handsets services platforms.
• Ensure proper integration with all Orange network infrastructures (Core, provisioning, charging & billing).
• Act as a primary player in set the design, architecture and integration model for any new SIM & Handsets Services platform within Orange EG Network.
• Facilitate all supplier requirements within Orange EG infrastructure.
• Manage the installation of new platforms within Orange EG network.
• Perform the testing in co-operation with the operation team.
• Handover projects and documentation to the operations team.
• Maintain the SLA with the operational platforms under responsibility to cover:
• The capacity and customer penetration.
• New software releases and additional features.
• Comply with the company policies regarding security of information, safety, quality standards and business conduct standards.
• study closely traffic evolution, systems performance and service usage
• Study and plan new systems releases, upgrades and features with impact on customer experience and network performance.
• Maintain own technical competency and keep up with latest technological trends
• Ensure Operational efficiency with focus on automation and infrastrure enablement
• Manage supplier relationship in diffrent stages of the projects
• Align with Orange affiliates to ensure getting all the benefits from shared experience
• Ensure proper reporting on all levels / aspects related to department scope
• Carry out and implement the five project management phases; Initiation, Planning, Execution, Controlling, and Closing.
• Setup the project organization across the different functions teams within technology and other departments across orange
• Define project tasks and resources requirements.
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Provide direction and support to project team.
• Recommend supplier/s for the desired product within the Tendering process.
• Resolve/ Mitigate the projects issues and risks along the project phases.
• Prepare & maintain technical project Schedules & monitor progress of the overall consolidated project plan to achieve on-time deliverables.
• Fulfill all needed budget approval and procurement follow-up to order needed project S/W or platform development and ensuring its alignment with the companies budget guidelines and the project business case.
• Adopt the company’s TTM (Time to Market), product development lifecycle and project management methodology/techniques to manage the nine knowledge areas of project management.
• Responsibility to do escalations to management whenever needed to move the project forward.
• Lead the team to achieve the requested targets.

4) Create, Update & Fulfill Devices Certification Checklist Document (DCCD) for all devices (Handsets, USB modems, Routers, handheld, GPS devices and laptops) to make sure that the Devices meet the technology and the Commercial requirements.
