Familiarizes self with specifications, drawings, correspondence, and any other technical aspects of the requirement from the proponent department.
2. Inspects materials, products, and progress (Receiving & Issuance) for conformance to specifications.
3. Collects received samples for testing, and computes findings.
4. Analyses and interprets orders from proponent departments, sample data, and other materials to determine, change, or measure specifications or inspection and testing procedures.
5. Tests and measures received products, components for accuracy to verify adherence with functional specifications.
6. Marks items for acceptance or rejection, records inspection data, and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
7. Confers with vendors through appropriate channel and others regarding inspection results, recommends corrective procedures, and compiles reports of results, recommendations, and needed repairs.
8. Prepares and issues inspection reports per Vendor Company.
9. Issues non-conformance reports (NCRs) for non-conforming work, materials or equipment.
10. Communicates through appropriate channel with vendors to obtain status of work and pending inspection points.
11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Direct Supervisor.

- Responsible for Quality Control & Quality Assurance Mechanical activities like Piping, Welding, NDT etc.
- Ensuring the Contractor compliance with the Project Quality plan & project scope and time constraints.
- Reviewing and implementation of QA/QC documents such as ITP, QA/QC Procedures, Method Statements etc.
- Ensuring that Project Quality Installation and workmanship is correctly implemented by the Contractor as the requirement of project standards and specifications.
- Initiate the Non Conformance Report (NCR) which does not meet with the Project requirements.
- Witnessing of Pneumatic test, Hydro test & Vacuums test.
- Daily Surveillance of Site Construction activities.
- NDT Clearance, QC review, Validation of Piping test packs and final release for Hydro test.
- Witnessing of welder qualification test (WQT) and issued a JCC for Welder.
- Review of Test packs & perform final line check and issue a punch list prior to the hydro test.
- Review of WPS, PQR, & all NDT reports, PWHT Chart, Hardness test reports & PMI reports.
- Ensure after hydro test all temporary removals are re-instated.
- Monitoring such as Material Storage, Consumables, and Preservation & Calibration of test equipment.
- Perform Inspection of fabricated spools in fabrication shop.
- Perform random Inspection of Painting & Insulation.
- Witnessing of Holiday testing & Gravity test.
- Witnessing of WFT & DFT etc.

Responsibility: • Inspects each job site for unsafe conditions that could cause injury,
death or financial loss to the Company. Reports findings to appropriate parties.
• Inspects materials and equipment to assure they are within tolerances, grade and quality specified.
• Performs all types of equipment inspection including that which
requires the use of calipers, micrometers, infrared camera,
boroscopes, pit gages, etc. to assure continued safe operation.
• Performs all tests and inspections on equipment that has been
repaired or modified to assure that the equipment meets the manufacturers and/or Saudi Aramco's specifications and Industry
code requirements.
• Performs and/or monitors liquid penetrant, magnetic particle and ultrasonic thickness examinations and assists in the interpretation of results.
• Carries out scheduling and selection of welds for nondestructive
examinations and tracking welder performance.
• Prepares on-stream inspection survey reports, revisions to (Equipment Inspection Schedules) and T&I (Testing and
Inspection) reports.
• Determines corrosion rates and remaining life of equipment in corrosive/erosive service.


• Monitors heat treatments of piping, vessels and associated
equipment.
• Witness or monitors tests required for welder certification and welding procedure qualifications.
• Witnesses routine hydrostatic tests on piping and service test on utility piping as authorized by Saudi Aramco and industry
standards.
• Drafts inspection reports, pre & post T&I reports, work sheets,
non-compliance reports, and makes log book entries of on-site
inspection findings. Maintains and updates databases and hardcopies for inspection records and correspondence files.
• Performs other miscellaneous related duties as directed.
