• Embarking on a journey of continuous learning and progression, starting from the very foundations, and working my way towards becoming an accomplished expert in the field.
• Successfully swapped 2 packet cores from Nokia and Ericsson to Huawei, ensuring a seamless transition and uninterrupted network services.
• Currently involved in strategic planning for the implementation of 2 additional Evolved Packet Cores (EPCs) in different regions, including network assessment, architecture design, and deployment coordination.
• Planning for the replacement of current firewalls (FWs) and adding 2 new FWs across multiple areas to enhance network security and protect against potential threats.
• Assumed responsibility for operating and maintaining Huawei EPC, Cloud Infrastructure, and Datacom Switches (EORs/TORs) to ensure optimal performance and smooth operations.
• Successfully planned and designed the implementation of 2 new EPCs, orchestrating the seamless transition from the existing 2 virtual Evolved Packet Cores (vEPCs) to cloud-based EPCs with a different vendor. This transformation optimized network performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Led the end-to-end DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) project, taking charge of planning, implementation, integration, and acceptance processes. This comprehensive project management involved collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with objectives, and delivering a robust DPI solution.
• Entrusted with the full responsibility of managing and maintaining the 2G/3G/4G Packet Cores in a multi-vendor environment, with a primary focus on Nokia and Ericsson packet cores.
• Administering and strategizing the deployment of Fortinet CGNAT/IPsec firewalls.
