-Conduct self-assessment for internal control (finance and C&P) to prepare monthly report explain the internal control state, the report connected to Controller and FD
-Cooperate with internal governance bodies as (internal audit department)
-Cooperate and respond to external governance bodies as ( Federal Board of Supreme Audit)
-Cooperate and respond to external auditor
AP Accountant -Basrah Gas Company (Joint Venture company South Gas Company 51%, Shell Gas Iraq 44% and Mitsubishi 5 %)
- My roles include:
- Entry invoices received in SAP after being Scanned
- Review and modify invoices entered by other accountant in my team and provide assistance to them when needed
- Replying to any inquiries regarding invoices
- Informing vendors of rejections of their invoices
- Reviewing vendor master date, deleting dormant accounts and ensuring bank details are being updated by procurement on the system in timely basis.
- Follow-up based on due dates with the RTP focal points, warehouse clerks and other stake holders (contract engineer, project accountants and contract holders) on the processing of the service entries (SE) and/or goods receipts (GR), so that the invoices are approved and posted with a 3-way match (between the PO, SE/GR and invoice)
- Prepare POT weekly report for Payment on time invoices and Administration weekly POT meeting
- Prepare monthly Payment on time report
- Financial reporting (monthly - quarterly- annual)
- Preparation Cost reports
- Preparation payroll
- Preparation of A/R
- Preparation of suppliers account
- Preparation of expenses account
