Participate in the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of
field engineering assignments including the development of contracts, procedures, and construction
methods and systems.
* Reviewing the performance of contractors to assure contract compliance, the application of accepted
construction technology and standards, and the acceptable standardization of materials and supplies.
* Provide technical opinion regarding any amendments proposed by the contractor or requested by the
top management, as well as reviewing and studying the specifications and drawings
* Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-
specific safety procedures and industry standards
* Review the Contractor Implementation Schedule.
* Studying any request submitted by the contractor regarding the works execution and expressing the
technical opinion about such requests to the client.
* Arrange site meetings with Contractor at regular intervals to discuss the quality and progress of
work.
* Approval of Payment Certificates.
* Submission of monthly progress reports to the top management and discuss the issues in the monthly
meetings.
* Review, negotiate and approve the variation orders and time claim in case required.
Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and
performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
* Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
* Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time
requirements; sequencing project elements.
* Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving
problems.
* Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes;
recommending actions.
* Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends;
recommending actions.
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
* Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and
specifications
* Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and
report regularly on project status
* Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to
provide assistance and technical support
* Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
