Implement Lean, 5S methodology, and Kanban system for
consumable replenishment.
• Warehouse day-to-day operations management: Resources
optimization, order cycle, RTVs..
• Educate department Supervisors and team members in
identifying key performance improvement indicators,
targeting opportunities for improvement, adopting best
practice processes and successfully executing improvement
initiatives.
• Ensure departmental overheads budget attained and kept in
line.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
People
• Promote a culture of collaboration and team-work within the company team and the service providers as well.
• Manage service providers’ resources to meet the continuous change in the business demands & needs in a cost-efficient manner.
Manage & Monitor KSA Supply Chain Cost & Service Levels
• Manage the supply chain cost & service levels to ensure that they stay within budgeted levels.
• Building the contracts, SLAs & KPIs with the LSPs.
• Develop and implement immediate corrective action were costs are outside budgeted levels.
E-commerce
• KSA E-Commerce Projects’ Champion.
Inventory Management
• Maintain the stores’ replenishment (Min/Max Control).
• Report Slow-Mover inventory to Buying Team. Ensure that fast actions are in place (for instance coordinate the RTVs)
• Manage the stock-take/inventory reconciliation. Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate the cycle counts.
Inbound /Outbound Management & Customs Clearance
• Ensure the smooth import & customs clearance of goods across the Region for merchandise and non-merchandise products.
• Liaise with the CBs “Certified Parties” for (SASO, SABER, IECEE, etc..) and/or any local regulations.
• Continuously monitor the 3rd party service providers to ensure the SLAs are within agreed levels and to drive service improvements, increase efficiency at lower costs.
ERP Logistics & Inventory Management Processes
• Ensure that the ERP (SAP) is maintained and operating effectively and efficiently from an inventory & logistics point of view.
• Ensure ‘Automated replenishment’ is fully operational and working efficiently in all stores.
• Ensure timely identification implementation of corrective action of damages or stock un-availability (nil picks).
• Planning and monitoring the receipt, order cycle and dispatch of goods. Oversee the day-to-day logistics operations.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Support after sales activities; refine the deliveries/self-pickup performance to achieve the target customer service level.
• Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently.
• Planning future capacity requirements.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with SAP.
• Ensures that budgets, schedules, and performance standards are realistically set and attained.
• Facilitating regular safety meetings and assuring the maintenance of a safe work environment
• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations with a concentration on domestic distribution.
• Direct supervise the fleet performance.
• Analyzing data & KPIs to monitor the work capacity.
• Lead the relationship with the 3PL partner (Aramex KSA) to assure the SLA is well applied.
• Review & approve service provider’s bills & any related Logistics Financial obligations.
• Prepare accounting schedules routinely & as requested for internal and external reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with operations to lead and monitor inbound and outbound accuracy as well as physical inventory process.
• Control the warehouse stock-take & cycle-count.
• Recommend stock level & re-order points according to the stores, end user, and to the market analysis.
• Monitor in/out of more than 8.5 K SKU. (Home Centre project).
• Develop and ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and provide timely reporting.
• Report and review the inventory turnover, slow/fast moving items, stagnant items etc.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Inventory Policies and Procedures.
