• Propose pre-concept structural systems as well as concept, schematic then detailed design stages.
• Carry out analysis, design and prepare design calculations for concrete or steel structures/buildings in accordance with American codes or British Standard.
• Meet/coordinate with other disciplines/site engineers to solve cross interest challenges.
• Define Cad technician scope of work and check produced drawings.
• Provide estimate for duration and efforts required for structural design and drafting of a given architectural design.
• Seek municipality approval for new/revised projects.
• Provide technical support for construction related issues.
• Control pace of work to achieve deadlines and report to head of structural department.
Carry out analysis and design of concrete/steel structures and coordinate with CAD technicians to produce structural drawings for municipality approval.
