VendorManagement - Contracts& Purchasing Department
 Management and Follow up prequalification processes through E-prequalification System and
coordination with Concern Departments.
 Management of Vendors and investors (Consultant, Sub-Consultants, Contractor, Sub-contractors,
Suppliers, Investors) Database and update their information on Contracts and Purchase Department
Systems.
 Periodical performance evaluation for the Contracted (Consultant, Sub-Consultants, Contractor, Sub-
contractors, Suppliers, Investors) and preparation of required plans to improve the vendors’ and
investors performance.
 Providing support for RTA Agencies and Departments regarding finding enough number of
prequalified vendors and investors to provide the best services and products.
 Providing support for RTA Agencies and Departments to prepare their vendors prequalification plan.
 Checking the status of the vendors in the Notes of awards regarding prequalification and efficiency
before awarding.
 Preparation processes and training programs for the prequalification & Tenders procedures for RTA
external users ( Vendors, Government and Semi Government entities)
 Manage the best Bench Marking related to Prequalification and Performance Evaluation processes to
improve the vender relationship management matrix.
 Improve processes, systems and policies to ensure the achievement of RTA strategic goal of vendor
happiness.
 Improve the technologies and programs related to vender relationship management matrix.
 Manage the E-prequalification program and upgrade the program functions as per best practice
 Manage Market Research and find proper Vendors to the proposed contracts jointly with the concern
departments.
 Study Issues related to procurement on order to match RTA Shaping future Policy.
 Study issues related to Patronage Emerging and medium size companies.
 Follow up and closing of all suggestions and complaints (Pre-qualification) related to the section by
transferring each to the responsible employee and ensuring replies all are attended to within the
timeframe. Escalate to section manager on timely manner.
 Member of Tenders Committee.
 Prepare necessary reports / correspondence as per the requirement and instruction of Department
Director and Section Manager.
