•Reporting: year-end financial statement, financial position, Income statement, cash flow and budget.
•Review and approve invoices, payments, journal entries, contracts, and bank reconciliations.
•Maintaining the day to day financial and accounting operations using ERP accounting software.
•Review policies and procedures, updating and Implementing QBF policies and procedures.
•Liaising with bank officials, external / internal auditors and with other professional advisers.
•Ensuring internal control procedures are followed for all cash disbursements, receipts, and transfers.
•Manage and monitor the accounting team with providing them clear instruction and proper support.
•Maintains and protects operations by keeping financial information and records confidential.

The IMA Qatar Chapter was established several years ago, however when the current board was elected in April 2012, the chapter started taking big strides towards implementing clear and ambitious strategies set by the new board.

•Financial reporting, prepare annual financial statement, consolidated financial statement, statement of financial position, cash flows and comprehensive income statement.
•Evaluating financial statements and assessing accounts for accuracy and compliance.
•Strength compliance, with existing and new policies and audit procedures.
•Recommend adjustments, follow up on corrections of unsatisfactory conditions.
•Physical inventory count ensures the accuracy of the inventory balances and investigate any variances.
•Tax income; calculate corporate income tax according to the Qatar Tax Law.
