• Ensure adequate and accuracy of the accounting records and financial reports and compliance with international financial reporting and standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Accounts Receivable Aging Report, Accounts Payable Aging Report, Inventory Report, Fixed Assets Report, and all requested documents by the management.
• Assist in the preparation of the company’s budget and quarterly forecast review.
• Report to management on variance from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.
• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives.
• Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
• Ensure the accuracy of the accounts records related closing cash transaction and closing petty cash.
• Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
• Managing bank facilities and maintain banking relationships.
• Assist in determining the company proper capital structure.
• Monitor and control payments terms and conditions against contract to support company cash flow position.
• Coordinate and follow up with tax adviser and tax inspectors to finalize the tax requirements and Income Tax inspection.
• Interpret the company financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
• Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management.
• Oversee accounts payable & receivable and their related payments and collection terms to strength company cash flow position and monitor credit risk.
• Coordinate and follow up with external auditors to finalize the audit requirements.
• Ensure that all transaction in finance dept. and store are up to date.
• Organize Inventory control between all warehouses.
• Liaising with the external audit of the company’s accounts and provide the required reports and information to the auditors.
• Adherence Local laws and regulations relating to Taxes.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by Managing Director.
• Ensure adequate and accuracy of inventory and warehouses transactions.
• Implement, controls ERP ( JDE )
• Assist in Legal cases and HR issues.
• Supervise and ensure proper recording and accuracy of all transactions related to payroll, indemnity provisions and payment, leave provisions and payments and monitor salaries transactions.
Reporting to : MD & CFO
Assist reviewed and supervised the day-to-day work of accounting department staffs.
Review facilities contracts and complains with law and regulations.
Process Accounts Payable transactions to include verify proper authorization and supporting documents.
Assist in month-end accounts closing activities and reconciliations.
Prepare requested reports as per Central Bank of Kuwait requirements
Report : FC
- Responsible for accounting of monthly and quarterly store inventory counts, Adjustments to journal entries,
- Oversees accounts payable for local and foreign suppliers, including suppliers balance reconciliations, sign off on suppliers’ cheques, regular supplier payments to suppliers through LCs, cheques and wire transfers, Payment approvals.
- Supervises closing of monthly and year-end accounts.
- Liaise with Statutory Auditors of the Company and ensure timely completion of Audit.
