• Assist in developing required policies, procedures and strategic plans aligning to the university objectives, mission, vision, goals and core values.
• Assist in the execution and implementation of the annual strategic plan/ targets and KPIs of the department.
• Currently working on the development of e-Portfolio Project for all HBMSU learners.
• Working on the execution of a Change Management Communication plan for a project that has been implemented.
• Advise learners on job opportunities and creates the necessary links between them and prospective employers.
• Create, maintain, and continuously enhance an up-dated database for vacant jobs available in-house and in the market.
• Maintain and enhance the services offered through the e-CAPS portal and Position University branding by providing efficient and excellent services Provides individual and group career counseling to learners with identified concerns and needs.
• Assist learners in preparing professional CVs and provides tips and tools for job interviews.
• Identify and assist learners in adopting the right job search strategies.
• Increase resources in multiple format related to career advising and placement services.
• Play an active role in pre-admission counseling during open days, recruitment events.
• Promote the university’s activities and programs when participating in Education and career fairs.
• Execute innovative seminars and workshops and other career events to assist learners in their career development and job search process.
• Maintain the Psychometric Personality & Ability self-assessment database, and conducting the necessary psychometric test that help learners in choosing the best programs that match their interests and personal learning style scales and to evaluate the learners’ suitability for certain jobs.
• In coordination with school Deans and Program Directors, help find necessary placement and internship opportunities for learners.
• Update university Alumni with all campus news, events, and services, HBMeU program offerings and professional courses.
• Establish and maintain a network for alumni relations, and acts as the primary liaison between Alumni and the various entities of the university
• Contribute to the market research when new programs are being developed.
• Participate in the management and preparation of the graduation ceremony in coordination with all concerned parties.
Assisting Associate Dean in handling SBM students’ academic affairs
Extensive communication with students, parents, administrators, faculty and management
Assist with class scheduling and room allocations and place textbook orders for the school.
Manage the Banner computer interface between the Registrar and Associate Dean’s office.
Providing Academic advising for students.
Updating student files, & records
Handling pre-registration/registration for SBM students, as defined by Associate Dean
