Job Description:
1) Preparing tenders & contracts, cost estimation, supporting procurement & logistics and performing other operational functions:
Assist in procurement of up-to-date medical equipments by equipment specifications and Tenders evaluation.
2) Working on Hospital Capital budget costing (CAPEX), prioritization of each equipment, and classification of the equipment list as per category.
3) Project coordinator in the design &equipment specifications of the following projects: CSSD, ICU, Labor and Delivery, Physiotherapy, Laboratory, cath lab and SCBU. (year 2007-2011).During the project execution I was interfacing with civil, CAD & MEP Engineers. This was including the pre installation requirements and inspection of medical equipment Ventilation, AC, Electrical power, Medical Gas, support services, construction and renovation, sanitation and water system in Health care facility
4) Handle and manage maintenance, repair, calibration, Inventory Management of Medical equipments (ASSET PLUS)&(Vfm), updating the history files of equipment, , and Supervising the daily activities of the Medical Contractor inside the hospital.
5) handling vendors presentations & meetings with end users
6) Identify operating problems and act to resolve them.
7) pre-installation of medical equipment: Testing &Commissioning new received equipment
8) Participating in JCIA MOG Survey for Al Ain Hospital 2009
Working on various medical equipments such as ZEISS Surgical Microscopes, ophthalmic diagnostic instruments &Lasers, GEUDER Surgical Instruments, Phaco Machine& Vitreoretinal Products.
Technical Support and trouble shooting for the above mentioned products.
Have some experience on other medical instruments in the fields of E.N.T, Neurology, Gynecology and Critical Care.
Worked as a service &sales engineer on various ophthalmic products from companies as (TOPCON, Haag Streit, BAUSCH&LOMB.
