I have been able to enhance my practical experience regarding Quantity surveying, site supervision and coordination. I am a team player; I organize my work properly and communicate well with Architects, engineers of various disciplines, draftsmen, and other supporting staff .
Prepare and develop preliminary cost plan, advise on cost of design teams proposal, Monitor cost implications during detailed design stage, Advise on tendering and contractual arrangements taking into account the clients priorities and information available from designers, Prepare tender and contract documentation in conjunction with the client and members of the design team, Take off quantities and prepare bills of quantities, Prepare Tender Analysis and report on tenders with appropriate recommendations.
Post contracts administration for Sewerage, Storm water drainage and Irrigation projects which includes quantity take off for the heavy structures like pumping stations, reservoirs, substations, Earth filling, Asphalt, major Pipe lines and its associated structures.
Review and certification of contractor’s entitlement of payment of works completed. Prepare payment certificate and issue to RE for approval. Review contractor’s submission against variation instructions. Assist in Review of time extensions/delays and penalties.
Preparation of Weekly & Monthly reports, Review and approve Contractor’s submittals such as method of statements, procedures, construction programme, bar bending schedules.
