• Part time Staff nurse in a health screening clinic serving 200 patients per day. Patient Mix includes: 20 to 100 years of age

• Nursing skills include: body composition analysis, patient assessment; patient education related to high risk issues such as DM, HTN, MI, CVA.

• Staff Nurse in a general surgery department serving 35 patients per day. Case mix includes: breast//thyroid cancers, cysto/rectocele, hernia repair, SUI, infertility-IVF, C-section, hemorrhoidectomy, endometriosis, uterine myoma, appendectomy.
• Technology used within the unit includes: harmonic scalpels, video endoscopy, ECG monitor, ultrasound, laparoscope/cystoscope, Bovie, insufflator, suction, Thermachoice, computerized documentation, PACS.
• Nursing skills include: First Assist, scrub/circulating nurse.
• Three years Shift Leader experience. Responsibilities include: guiding/coaching/mentoring 2 nurses, precepting new nurses, assigning nurses to circulating and scrub duties, operation supplies check draw up manual operation procedure, instrument management, review OR schedule, instrument application, monitor instrument/tap/needle count.
• Staff Nurse in a general surgical floor with a nurse:patient ratio of 1:6. Admission Criteria includes: breast//thyroid/gastric/colon/rectal carcinoma, hepatitis, Hospice care, hepatocellular disease.
• Technology used within the unit includes: Infusion/PCA/epidural pumps, IS, glucometer, NIBP.
• Nursing skills include: peripheral IV insertion, medication administration, central line management, Foley catheter insertion and management, chest tube management
• Intern Nurse in an Anesthesia & Pain Clinic serving 20 out-patients and 10 in-patients per day. Patient mix includes: arthroscopy, thyroid/breast/gastric carcinoma, total knee replacement, amputation, varicose vein stripping, and terminal pain control.
• Technology used within the unit includes: infusion/PCA pump, TENS unit, C-Arm.
• Nursing skills include: Patient pain scale assessment, PCA management, patient education
