Hansing Engineering performs engineering and manufacturing on high tensile and heat treated steel parts and components, non ferrous metals, plastic materials, stainless Steel, brass and bronze.
Situated in Saldanha bay, Hansing supplies service to large Local and International companies like, Portnet, Dormac, Accerlor Mittal, Lafarge. Doing repairs and maintenance on Ships, Oil rigs, boats, trucks, cranes, earth moving equipment etc.
Duties:
• Doing 24 hours 7 days a week standby duties
• Doing breakdowns for variety of companies, working overtime to minimize downtime
• Going on site to measure, install or repair parts, machines or components on the spot.
• Machine parts to specification, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, or welding machines.
• Maintain service and repair all milling machines, lathes (1m-5m), big swing lathes, Slotting machines, drill press machines etc.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and measuring instruments.
• Fit, test and examine completed units to ensure conformance to specifications and quality
• Set up, adjust and operate all the machine tools on variation of machines in order perform precision machining operations.
• Provide training to apprentices and monitoring them as they complete projects
• Collect and deliver cash for the Reserve bank of South Africa.
• Supervise employees, making sure they follow correct procedures and protocol.
• Organise and allocate tasks to team members
• Ensuring safe working conditions are followed
• Performing tasks of an ATM custodian.
• Escorting cash vans on all their routes.
• Performing all salesman duties on cars and bikes
• Helping in Workshop with service and repair on single and multiple cylinder motorcycles
• Sell performance parts for diesel and petrol vehicles.
• Fit Unichips using diagrams and assist Dyna tuner with tuning and mapping.
• Repair and service diesel and petrol vehicles.
• Performing all apprentice duties.
• Assisting Technicians with repair & service of motorbikes.
• Working un-supervised on projects
