I manage a team who design, facilitate and evaluate an extensive portfolio of leadership development programs across the Organization, and partner with Executive leaders to identify and support the development of emerging talent. I design bespoke individual and team interventions to support the strategic objectives of individual Sector Heads. I work as an executive coach and manage the University mentorship program.

I was the manager of the blended learning centre - a training venue containing an IT suite, access to a comprehensive eLearning catalogue, library and access to trainers and coaches. I also designed and delivered a suite of blended learning training for supervisors, managers and academic leaders. My first role was in the Industrial Relations team. In this HR-based position I worked closely with Unions, Staff and Family Associations to evaluate terms and conditions for Diplomatic staff and their families. I was responsible for a complete re-wire of Diplomatic Service Policy (DSP) on Personnel and Families to ensure equality and diversity were highlighted consistently throughout. Confirming that DSP was in complete alignment with British, European and International legislation referring to employment rights, responsibilities, terms and conditions.

Following this assignment, I was posted to the British Embassy in Kiev. This challenging post included the daily HR management of the locally engaged staff, dealing with all aspects of local employee relations and ensuring the comfort and safety of British staff and their families. My key achievement in this role was Creating an artisan workforce that was equipped and trained to deal with a wide range of domestic and property related issues. Developing effective working relationships with Ukrainian suppliers, consultants and international consortia.
