Leading efforts to elevate the bank's Data Quality (DQ) initiatives & working closely with business stakeholders to drive strategic priorities within the CIB’s Chief Data Office (CDO). This position required a deep understanding of data management practices and the ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization to ensure the success of DQ programs.

Key responsibilities and achievements included:
• Leadership & Strategic Direction: As a lead I direct a global team in achieving the top priorities of the Investment Bank’s CDO Data Quality program. This involved setting strategic goals, coordinating efforts, resource and budget across teams, ensuring the alignment of DQ initiatives with broader business objectives.
• Data Ownership & Management Programs: I played a crucial role in the implementation of a comprehensive data ownership program, which involved establishing clear responsibilities for data owners and in-Business CDOs across all relevant applications. My efforts supported the enhancement of data quality and governance, contributing to a more robust data management framework within CIB Markets.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Project Implementation: My ability to engage and secure senior management buy-in for key DQ initiatives was instrumental in driving the successful implementation of data solutions. Partnering effectively with business stakeholders to uncover opportunities for DQ improvement, ensuring the timely execution of remediation projects and addressing any challenges that arose during the process.
• Data Quality & MI Reporting: My commitment to quality in data management was recognised through the successful tracking and remediation of DQ issues, thorough documentation of data lineage, and the implementation of effective communication strategies to convey key stakeholder requirements for new and enhanced DQ solutions. I also led the efforts to automate analytical and MI processes (Alteryx, Power BI), significantly improving efficiency and the quality of insights provided to senior management.

Leading the transformation and integration of a unified global BI & Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching objectives. This pivotal role involved managing complex data infrastructure projects, enhancing the organization's analytical capabilities, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities and achievements included:
• Global BI Strategy Implementation: Successfully program managed the UK branch's adoption and transition to a harmonized global BI strategy, overseeing the implementation of new data warehousing solutions (Snowflake) and the design of user-centric SaaS dashboards (Qlikview, Arcadia, Power BI). This effort streamlined data processes and significantly improved data accessibility and analysis capabilities across the organization.
• Analytics Culture and Methodology Enhancement: My strategic approach to enhancing the analytics culture and methodology extended beyond local initiatives, influencing best practices across global jurisdictions. I led the charge in increasing analytics proficiency, which in turn facilitated more informed decision-making and business strategies.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Project Management: Through revamping MIS content and planning engagements, I significantly improved communications with senior stakeholders, steering committees, and C-level management, ensuring transparency and alignment on BI initiatives. My effective project management of new initiatives and large data migration projects involved meticulous planning, stakeholder engagement, and the implementation of benefit relevant KPIs and OKRs.

As a consultant, I played a key role in shaping and enhancing business processes through meticulous analysis and strategic collaborations. My tenure in this position was marked by a commitment to bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the delivery of value-driven improvements.

Key responsibilities and achievements included:
• Requirement Elicitation and Workflow Analysis: Conducted comprehensive requirement gathering sessions utilising my professional network, interviews, document analysis, and business process descriptions. This approach facilitated the development of detailed user cases and workflow analysis, laying the foundation for a robust business solution that altered the way Global Funds metrics were reported.
• Solution Design and Process Optimisation: I was responsible for the end-to-end design, analysis, and testing of solution improvements of a 3 new pilot projects. My contributions were instrumental in achieving significant process efficiencies within the project's scope, demonstrating my capability to manage complex initiatives successfully.
• Collaboration for Technical Vision: Collaborated closely with developers and subject matter experts to define the technical vision of projects, analysing trade-offs between usability and performance needs. This collaborative effort ensured that technical solutions were aligned with business objectives, fostering seamless functionality.
