Analyze blueprints and other documentations to prepare time, materials and labor
estimates for Architectural Works, Structural Works and Civil Works.
Provide expertise in the areas of project costing using up-to-date knowledge in
computer software in preparation of IFB documents and/or project proposals.
Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) and send to vendors or subcontractor for
quotation.
Review materials and labor requirements to decide whether is more cost-effective to
produce or purchase components.
Review and evaluate quotations of materials and coordinate to the designer if the
materials conform to the specification prior to the final approval of the clients.
Review of tender documents for discrepancies, additional BOQ items/scope and
incorporating within the tender offer.
Work in close coordination with the design engineer to assure completeness and
correctness of project costing.
Initiate and organized systems for establishing and monitoring quality control,
recording and reporting progress problems and evaluating quantities of work.
Responsible to any comments from the client regarding the BOQ/estimates and
Request for Proposal (RFP) documents for the 30%, 90%, 100%, IFB and IFC
submittals and coordinate to Lead QS Engineer for any issues.

Conduct project site inspection and identify potential source of construction materials
and ensure through coordination with the Materials Engineer the acceptability and/or
suitability of conventional materials for the project at hand.
Review of tender documents for discrepancies, additional BOQ items/scope and
incorporating within the tender offer.
Work in close coordination with the design engineer to assure completeness and
correctness of project costing.
Processed Variation/Change Order submitted by the sub-contractor and recommend
action plans for the resolution of field issues.
Perform assignments that require independent judgement and less supervision and
deliver expected output with accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor and supervise the project progress accomplishment in relation to the
construction schedule and quality control.
Inspect the work accomplished by the contractor, reviewed and evaluate submitted
billings for payment, compared it with the actual physical accomplishment at the site,
ensured that it is in accordance with the approved plan and specification prior to the
processing of the billings.
Monitor the contractor performance and assess his strength and weaknesses;
Ensured “Safety First” in every construction activity and submit the report to the
safety engineer every week.
Conduct preliminary evaluation and quantity survey if there is a need for variation
order either additive or deductive and make a recommendation to the Area Engineer.
Prepares and checks daily equipment utilization and efficiency report to both rented
and company-owned equipment.
Record the daily work output/accomplishment as well as the condition at site to include materials, equipment and personnel.
Prepare accomplishment reports including milestones, and issue recommendations
related to project implementation.
Maintain project records and documents.
