Project Manager supporting high voltage substation and transmission projects Management, and coordinate all aspects of the work related to the installation of new and rebuilding of power projects. Responsible for the cost management of the individual projects, the successful completion of the projects within the specified dates, and establishing and maintaining a professional and satisfactory relationship with the Owner, the program management team, subcontractors, regulatory agencies and any other project stakeholder. Major responsibilities include:
• Serve as project point of contact with Owner regarding efforts such as coordination, planning, scope management, budgeting, and facility support and schedule attainment.
• Maintain clear lines of communication and relationships between project site, project office and Owner.
• Generate and/or review project change orders and estimates with support from • the project controls personnel, manage and approve the development, update and issuance of the project schedule.
• Management of projects regarding activities such as environmental, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, project controls, contractibility reviews, material management, and closeout.
• Work closely with the Project Team to confirm deliverables and services are being provided to client’s satisfaction.

The main tasks adopted in the field of construction and electro-mechanical scope are listed below;
• Establishing policies, procedures and company standards to ensure the best value for company expenditures.
• Developing strategic and operational plans to promote the purchasing function
throughout the organization
• Negotiating pricing and service arrangements with suppliers and coordinating
   contract execution.
• Manage all aspects of Procurement including employees, commodities, and product lines assigned.
• Develop manning, expense, cost reduction and tooling budgets and monitor performance against such plans
• Develop validation schedules, evaluate, approve and assist Sr. Buyers validate recommended new sources of supply for the product and parts assigned.
• Develop sourcing strategy relative to the product or parts assigned and vigorously pursue implementation once approved.
• Selection and Management of vendors and subcontractors list.
• Carry out prequalification of consultants and subcontractors • Task planning, cost control and prepari5
• ng subcontractors packages.
• Suppliers’ annual evaluation.
• Implementing the quality management system.
• Handling contract matters, special terms and conditions and payment terms.
• Supervise preparing procurement plan.
• Review and check documents and specifications.
• Develop tender documents.
