Leading the management system section towards implementing company's vision on quality, food safety, occupational health and safety and continuous improvement (change management). That is done through designing management documents related to all process carried out in the facility including production follow-up, procurement of materials, maintenance activities, planning, Human Resources Management, production, quality assurance and control over products, Food Safety safety, security and warehouse stock control with the assistance of the department managers.

I was recently tasked with designing a management system for Quality Assurance and In Process Control in the processing area, which then was upgraded to lead and manage a team responsible for the processing area quality assurance; that means supervising all Milk and Juice processing steps prior to packaging, monitoring CIP and SIP activities and preventing quality and safety defects.

As a supervision role, I put in charge of the supervision of Human Resources Activities in the manufacturing facility, where the HR specialist reports directly to me for headcount analysis and recruitment needs, I and the training specialist set training plans as per department training needs and handle post training supervision and ROI analysis as well as handle exit interviews and personnel affairs supervision.

Reporting to the CEO, I have understood the organization needs and hence translate that into a management system that is self-running, independent and consistent.

My tasks and activities also includes but not limited to:
- Quality Assurance System Design and Implementation in the Processing Areas
- Internal Auditing
- Training and ROI management
- Supplier and Store Audits
- Project Management (related to establishing new systems)

 Tasks and Responsibilities:
• QHSE Team Leader (Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety and Environment); leading a team of multi-disciplinary members to the proper identification and application of safety measures and problem solving.
• Process standardization for the Milk and Juice production; including studying of Operation Manuals (OM), identifying best practices and producing instructions and forms to ensure proper implementation.
• Quality Assurance in processing area, designing and implementing an In Process Control procedure and coaching a team of engineers.
• Management System design and implementation; upgrading company's management system to meet FSSC 22000 and OHSAS 18001; where the plant was certified by SGS.
• Following-up with non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Managing Process and Departmental change and development for the Procurement, Production, Human Resources, Security, Health and Safety, Sanitation and Customer Care departments and operations.
• Communication officer; representing company when dealing with customer complaints and supplier complaints.
• Internal Auditing Team Leader; heading the internal audit team, planning, execution and audit results chain of actions.
• Training and employee development; responsible for setting up training plans accordingly company policy, training procurement and following up employee progress. Task includes Return On Investment (ROI).
• Recruitment needs identification in processing facility.
• Personnel Affairs management in processing facility.
• Operation Steering Committee Member.
• Crisis Team Coordinator.
• Problem Solving Team Coordinator for internal, customer and supplier complaints and non-conformities.
• Supplier and Customer's Stores Performance Analysis and Audits; Supervising Procurement Department on Supplier Evaluation and commencing trend analysis for supplier performance; planning and performing compliance audits on suppliers and intermediate clients to achieve company policy regarding Food Safety and Quality.

Non-Permenant Member and Visiting Scholar في YSMO (Yemen Standardization and Meteorology Organization)

As a visiting scholar, I was given the opportunity to give a workshop for the members of the national Yemen Standardization Committee on Quality, Food Safety, HACCP and auditing to enforce their knowledge and allow them to monitor the manufacturer performance nation wide.

This task expanded as I became a non-permanent member of the YSMO organization, where I was called to certain events to contribute the setting certain standards regulating the food industry. I contributed to the YSMO Legislation 221/2015 regarding GMP implementation in Food Manufacturing Companies, YSMO Legislation 310/2015 regarding Raw Milk and Powdered Milk and YSMO Legislation 322 regarding HACCP Standard Adaptation in the YSMO Standards.

At the end of my work, I conducted a training course on Auditing Skills for the YSMO auditors that included 3 days audit on food manufacturer.

As the company was decreasing its activities in Egypt, I was promoted to oversee and manage the remaining projects associated with the firm. My work was concerned with supervising, coaching and following-up with junior consultants and trainer, present financial and technical reports to HQ, supervising marketing and sales activities, contracting and daily management of the work force.

This position allowed me to report directly to the GM of my company and get an insight on how companies run and sustain their businesses. This added to my skills to identify my company's financial strategy, work and improve accordingly.

Attended an internship related to microbial biotechnology and its soil application in Rafah, Egypt for 2 months, where I assisted my professor in achieving soil cultivation using drought-resistance bacteria (genetically modified). During my study, I was head of a university club named EFWA (English Friends for World Agriculture), where I personally organized 2 job fairs and countless social events. I was also a main player in our college basketball team, where we won 3rd place in Cairo University Cup and was selected to travel to Syria (2007) to attend an exchange internship with my team and key students in university at that time.

I assisted colleagues to establish the sport in the company named Kites, then I left to start my own business and introduced new locations for Sandboarding in Egypt including Siwa, Western Oasis, Kataneya and Wadi El Rayan.
