1. Implement the global marketing strategy into a regional marketing strategy
2. Provide Technical Marketing support for all Clients in the Africa, Middle East
Regions as requested by the Sales Department.
3. Responsible for developing business opportunities, product and segment strategies.
4. Develop and lead execution of regional business plans and product positioning in
Africa & Middle East Regions.
5. Oversee market research, monitors competitive activity, and identify customer
needs.
6. Establish and validate pricing strategies to optimize profitability and market share
penetration.
7. Interface with applications, manufacturing, and sales to enhance existing product.
8. Benchmark competitive environment and develop effective product, pricing and
marketing communication strategies to grow the FRP business.
9. Coordinate with Sales to drive incremental business and support the sales channels
with accurate and effective solution.
10. Customize presentations on customer demand
11. Provide technical training to representatives and customers.
12. Organize and deliver Educational (technical) seminars.
13. Collaborate with FPI international marketing and R&D teams.
14. Create and present Market trends reviews to customers.
1. Review all technical activities at the inquiry and the order execution stages for the Manufacturing Unit.
2. Ensure that the necessary level of quality technical support service is being provided to by the Unit Technical Team.
3. Ensure proper allocation of workload among the Unit Technical Team members as to ensure an effective workflow.
4. Provide any required design calculation or technical documentation.
5. Identify any project specific qualification requirement or product development.
5. Provide custom products designs to suit the markets’ needs.
7. Ensure full Implementation of the Value Engineering Process within the Region.
8. Coordinate with the Central Costing team to optimize all products.
9. Provide technical/process support to manufacturing unit to implement new
products or processes.
10. Ensure proper allocation of workload among the Technical Team members as to ensure an effective workflow.
12. Ensure that the necessary level of quality technical support service is being provided to by the Technical Team.
13. Manage the succession planning of the Technical Team.
14. Provide the required training to the Region Technical Team
15. Participate in the establishment of the base line for the three technical indicators, and thereafter monitor the progress of the performance.
16. Assist Project Department in handling projects by planning the activities, meet clients & preparing all the method statements related to the job.
17. Support operations staff (production, QC, Maintenance) through technical analysis of problem areas.
18. Review the engineering outputs (Stress & Surge) analysis.
• Responsible for designing a system that conforms to the company's specifications,
client's requirements, is effective & economical to ensure company's as well as client's interests are safeguarded.
• Aware of all international standards (ASTM, BSI, API, AWWA, ISO14692, ..)
• Provide any required design calculation or technical documentation.
• Identify any project specific qualification requirement or product development.
• Provide technical support to the manufacturing unit as well as sales team.
Supervision for construction of submarine P/L’s.
Supervision for construction, Installation & maintenance of offshore platforms .
Supervision for construction & maintenance of Crude Oil tanks .
Prepare & review piping material specification and piping classes .
Prepare & review offshore & onshore pipeline specification .
Prepare material requisition, technical evaluation of the received offers .
Prepare & review the scope of material services to be provided according to the
project instructions, basic design data sheets .
Review P & ID’s .
Prepare & review welding procedures (WPS) .
Familiar with all international standards including (API 5L, API 1104, ANSI, DNV-2000
NFPA, AWS, ASME & ASTM).
QUALIFICATIONS • B.SC in Mechanical power Engineering • Faculty of Engineering, Helwan University • Graduation Year: 2004 • Graduation Grade: Good • Fourth Year Grade: Very Good
