SCOPE OF WORK: Rehabilitation and restoration of 12 schools in the Medina region, including all architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and firefighting and alarm system finishing works.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Planning and coordination:
Hold meetings with key stakeholders (e.g. Ministry of Education, Madinah Education Department, contractors, local community) to understand project requirements and expectations.
Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes goals, tasks, timelines, budget, and scope of work.
Obtaining all necessary permits and approvals from the relevant government agencies. Preparing tender documents and managing the process of selecting the appropriate contractor.
Communication and management:
Create an effective communication plan to facilitate communication between all stakeholders involved in the project.
Managing the work team and assigning tasks and responsibilities to each member. Monitor work progress periodically and submit reports to stakeholders.
Resolve any problems or challenges that arise during the workflow.
During project implementation:
Site Administration:
Supervising all construction activities and ensuring their compliance with applicable specifications and standards.
Manage site safety and ensure all occupational safety and health procedures are followed. Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure that materials and services are delivered on time and according to the required specifications.
Resolving any disputes or disagreements that arise between the project parties.
Budget control:
Carefully monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the specified budget. Preparing periodic financial reports and informing stakeholders of any changes in costs. Look for opportunities to save money without compromising the quality of work.
