- Lead a team of 6 professional buyers & managing all procurement & logistic activities of all raw materials, spare parts, production consumables, machines, production lines, and maintenance services with overall department annual spend of 2.2 Billion SAR.
- Forecasted requirements & planned procurement schedules to meet variation of demand, ensured uninterrupted supply by optimizing processes and capitalized on cost saving opportunities.
- Reviewed existing systems & procedures and designed internal controls/quality audit checks for various operational areas for achieving higher operational efficiency, resource rationalization and cost reduction.

- Functioned as Chemicals & Insulations Category Manager with a transverse responsibility of supporting other 10 business units among the organization, in terms of managing the contracting, sourcing, vendor development &evaluation.
- Saved yearly cost of 11.7 MSAR in 2020 &12.2 MSAR in 2021 as overall saving value (contract + non-contract)
- Increased procurement contracting trend to be 85% in 2021.
- Augmented the credit payment facility, where 85% of all procurement volume in 2021 was paid in credit of 60-120 days.
- Reduced single-source volume of 11.4 MSAR in 2021, by developing 13 new suppliers and covering 25 MSAR purchase value.
- Abridged the cost of the main raw materials of (XLPE-LV, XLPE-MV, LLDPE, Steel Wire, Mica Tape) by an average of 15% reduction, which resulted in a tangible reduction in cable cost.
- Applied the supply chain financing payment terms with the major suppliers of Copper & Aluminium which generated financial savings of nearly 2.2 MSAR.

• Handled sourcing, logistics, and customs compliance for copper, steel,
chemicals, machines, and spares.

- Significantly contributed to purchasing raw materials required for production in Egypt
Transformer Factory including metals like Copper, Silicon Steel, Aluminium, Transformer Oil.

- Purchased machines and equipment for Egypt, Zambia, and Nigeria Transformer factories.

- Instrumental in preparing different payments like L/C, CAD, T/T to vendors in coordination with Finance Department either it is advances or deferred payment.

- Made long‐term agreements with pre‐set delivery schedule according to a planned
consumption.

- Prepared procurement reports of quarterly procurements volume, savings reports, on‐time
deliveries and monthly KPI’s.
