Working with schools and teachers on implementing the KHDA Inclusion
Framework.
Setting up and overseeing an inclusion based program at a mainstream school in
Dubai for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

learning to enable students to gain exposure to all types of cases that would be
encountered in a classroom.
Teaching students on international policies, legislations, and research influencing
classroom practices for children with special needs.
Preparing students to identify diverse learning needs of school students who have
a range of abilities, disabilities and impairments, and learning how environments,
curricula and pedagogies can be modified to support learner's diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Travelled across the GCC on consultancy and program development mandates.
Met potential investors and discussed possibilities for collaborations and
partnerships, formulated proposals for schools and key partners.
Supervised the learning support department and learning support teachers, in
addition to providing parent training sessions.
Worked alongside a multidisciplinary team to help set an inclusion based program
in mainstream schools in the UAE.
Trained and monitored the implementation of corrective reading, writing, and spelling programs
Coached and supported employees in order to ensure their development.
Undertook quality control and ensured that all rules and objectives were in place and are being followed thoroughly.

Implemented ABA therapy for children with autism and evaluated the outcome of the interventions proposed.
Monitored the implementation of the special education policies and the inclusion of children within the autism spectrum across
the school settings.
Assisted in adapting and differentiating the school curricula to cater/support the needs of children with special abilities,
promoted a holistic inclusion mandate.
Designed and implemented behavioral plans and lesson plans with differential instruction for the different subject matter.
