TRANSMISSION SYSTEM PROJECT-

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Reviews project specifications, drawings implementation, and the contract documents.
• Reviews structural submitted design and analyze structures by manual calculation and engineering software.
• Creates proposals of engineering solutions in design and execution if deficiency arise.
• Evaluates the consequences of design option, feasibility study including schedule and cost.
• Leads the subordinate engineers particularly Punch listing and commissioning for closing the projects.
• Reviews work method statement specifically before start executions and oversee the commencement work.
• Reviews all Material submittals and check carefully with conformance to project specifications.
• Checks the Plan and schedules and trace duration according to project baseline schedules.
• Reviews BOQ and check the work plan to match the declared amount of the project.
• Conducts daily site inspection across disciplines and maintain very accurate checking and records.
• Supervise and assists subordinate engineers with regards to project monitoring, checking and supervising.
• Oversee project progress and implement two weeks look ahead plan schedule to trace the movement of activities.
• Witness material quality test as required by the contract and quality control specifications.
• Explore more ideas and creates more solutions to fix activity problems and obstacles.
• Check and monitor the material long lead delivery in accordance to approve base plan and schedule.
• Identify and troubleshoots problems related to structural issues and project quality issues.
• Implements corrective actions that have been taken when discrepancies.
• Submit a report with specified methods that were used to correct problems.
• Prepares Non-compliance and Site observation reports for non-conformance done on site.
• Troubleshot and resolve any discrepancies and ambiguities done during executions.
• Develops inspection plan and procedures in coordination with the team.
• Ensures timely inspection for all materials delivered on site with corresponding uses.
• Tracks project progress and improve quality activity by solving quality issues.
• Attends daily coordination meeting with client, contractor and sub-contractors.
• Address and discuss some structural and quality issues during coordination meeting.
