• Prepares financial statements in accordance to IFRS and IAS.
• Chair the development of sound system of internal control to enhance the control
environment.


• Daily Reporting for Sales/AR/ AP/Stock/Cash & Bank/Working Capital (Critical Analysis)


• Monthly Closing of Books of accounts
• Prepare monthly analysis on the performance of assigned businesses (Revenue, Gross
margin & expenses)
• Assist in budget preparation as well as forecasts.
• Review system generated reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting
standards and company's policies and procedures for processes.


• Controlling statutory compliance as per local rules and regulations.


• Liaison with Banks, Auditor and Govt. Authorities.


• Reconcile, resolve reconciling items, and monitor trade AR and employee accounts.
• Performing annual closing, finalizing the books and completing audit of company

• Contributing to the strategic development of the administrative and logistics function,
leading its implementation and ensuring standards, policies, procedures and practices
are consistent across all programme areas.

• Ensuring a strong system of internal control is put in to place, for tracking down of important audit documents.

• Established both administrative and Finance tool kits. Such as bank, Payroll and cash
reconciliation forms, payments, receipts, transfers forms etc..

• Reviewed and maintained up-to-date data in the SUN accounting system for all
financial transactions - payments and receipts, in-country transfers, Head office
transfer analyses, journal entries and reversals, salaries and petty cash voucher
• Produced month-end financial analysis reports, critical checks of all journals
• Performed evaluation procedures, exporting financial data to head office in UK.
• Carry out exchange rate analysis and produced reports, reconciling Head Office
financial files (UK) with those of the Cameroon program office.
• Conducts budget analysis and forecasting, reviewing the budget design for each activity to ascertain the spending status. Providing monthly and Quarterly variance analyses by comparing planned and actual expenditures.
• Ensure that appropriate systems and procedures are in place to enable the smooth,
cost-effective and efficient running of the office, and be complementary to finance
systems and procedures.

• Conduct critical analysis, ensuring that all expenditures are properly coded.


• Developed budget preparation procedures for various programs and the entire
organisation.
• Providing in depth advice and direction to programme managers on the implementation, monitoring and management of projects budget and financial
reporting in accordance with agreed funding terms and expenditure plans.
• Recently, trained all Geographic managers on the principles of accounting and administration. Especially on how to use the SUN 5 accounting system.
