I have worked as Associate Lecturer in Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, Dubai, UAE, I have taught psychology to graduation and Master level students. Introduced students to the “principles of life long learning and psychology”.
I have worked as Career Counselor at Gulf Medical University, Ajman UAE; with far wider range of responsibilities. My focus is to make GMU graduates have clarity of purpose and the solid decision-making abilities to be confident, selective and competitive in managing their careers and further academic pursuits. I am responsible for providing a wide range of student services that includes; personal/group counseling related to personal growth and academic success and to make supportive documents when applying for different positions. Planning and organizing various career events. Keep track of alumni record, and to help them in finding right career paths.
I am also a member and research supervisor of Psychosocial Module for MBBS Students; in this role, my main task is to introduce students with the systematic and scientific study of human behavior and mental process and to supervise them in conducting researches in this area, and to highlight psychology’s role and importance in the doctor patient relationship. I am teaching the role and importance of such phenomena as perception, cognition, emotion, personality, behavior, interpersonal relationships, culture, socialization, and development in Health Field while dealing and communicating with patients. I am teaching the application of behavioral knowledge to various spheres of doctor patient’s relationship and communication.
I am also handling the postgraduate admissions. In this role, I am preparing letters and documents for students from interview calls till character and leaving certificates.
I have worked as Psychology Lecturer in Emirates College, for Management & Information Technology, Dubai, U.A.E, I have taught psychology to graduation, Master & diploma level students. I have developed course philosophy, objectives and outcomes for all the classes. Develop course syllabus, compile course textbook.
I introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of human behavior and mental process. I taught such phenomena as perception, cognition, emotion, personality, behavior, interpersonal relationships and psychology in work place.
I taught the application of such knowledge to various spheres of human activity, including issues related to daily life (e.g. family, education, and work) problems.
I have also provided career and personal counseling services to students facing problems in their careers and lives.
I have worked as coordinator psychologist; under Federal Ministry of Health Islamabad Pakistan 15 psychologist work under my supervision. I was responsible for the planning and implementing different rehabilitation planes for the patients; (including; Psychological, Occupational Rehabilitation and different Vocational & Career Guidance Programs), to attend morning evening rounds, daily meetings, weekly conferences, and psychological rehabilitation of In and Out psychiatry patients, and to report the working of psychologist in the Federal Ministry of Health Pakistan.
Conducted different training programs for mental health education/ awareness and vocational guidance in different rehabilitations centers of Pakistan. Develop brushers for different job descriptions and professions to help paraplegics’ patients. Conducted different researches on paraplegics’ patients.
I have worked as assistant student / career counselor at career counseling center Quaid-i-Azam University, my job was to provide personal / career counseling services for students career decision making and education related problems. Developed brochure for many job descriptions.
Merit scholarship in MPhil, for obtaining 4GPA 1- Completed Internship in Askari Commercial Bank, Rawalpindi Pakistan. As a part of my course work in MSc Psychology. My main project was to study the Psychological Work Environment of the organization and to suggest possible changes for improvement. I got merit scholarship for my internship. 2-Completed internship in Mobilink, Pakistan in organizational development section. My main work was to conduct and analysis the training programs for employees. .
