As a OHS Instructor, I am responsible for developing curriculum and teaching students various concepts of effective Health and Safety management by focusing on all aspects related to Health and Safety such as policies and procedures, compliance with Health and Safety legislation, and in-house inspections as a training for students to check if policies and procedures and being properly implemented.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Teach classes with up to 25 students and for up to 25 hours of in class instruction per week.
- Maintain positive rapport with all students and create a positive learning environment to adequately communicate lessons.
- Enforce the student management and disciplinary policies of the Institute
- Participate in Health and Safety curriculum development and planning with other Health and Safety Instructors and Curriculum Developers.
- Coordinate with other Health & Safety Instructors to integrate curricula and monitor student progress.
- Perform clerical duties, as required, relating to textbooks, instructional supplies, student reports and records, attendance reports, and others.
- Prepare the needed documentation and facilities required for the exams (online and hand written)
- Carry out assessments and evaluation for the students performance and exams answers.
- Carry out modifications in the scientific content of the syllabus and create new teaching materials

HSE leader deputy in the CCR project at ANRPC

I have been assigned as HSE leader deputy in the CCR project being constructed by Petrojet Co. and designed by Enppi Co. and UOP Honeywell with the experience of:
-Understanding the requirements of HSE policy, and to make sure that it is well communicated to all project personnel, and implemented.
-Assisting in the planning, implementing and maintaining compliance of safety and environmental standards, to ensure compliance with company HSE rules and local legislation requirements.
-Setting a personal example on site by adhering to project HSE rules and regulations at all stages.
-Reviewing and approving all project HSE plans and documentation and following up their implementation.
-Ensuring that all contractor HSE manpower and resources are available and sufficient.
-Attending weekly and monthly HSE and construction meetings.
-Carrying out HSE audits, regular site inspections, safety tours and management walk through tours, to evaluate occupational health, safety and environmental conditions and to identify and assess any hazards and their control measures.
-Reviewing contractor HSE reports (incident reports, monthly reports ... etc).
-Attending accident investigations and reviewing the investigation reports in order to make sure that the corrective actions are well identified and sufficient then to make sure that they are implemented.
-Reviewing critical lifting plans, Incidents investigation process and reports.
-Approving safety & firefighting equipment (as per the design) before installment in site.
-Witnessing the commissioning and testing of the safety & firefighting equipment and fire alarm system and approving their functionality after installation.
-Attending and approving factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests for the packages with dedicated fire alarm and firefighting system, such as the new emergency diesel generator, issuing punch lists and tracking their clearance
-Ensuring that the disposal of all kinds of waste is carried out safely and regularly and that there are effective and efficient control measures against health hazards and environmental pollution.

Automatic fire and gas detection system & HSE technical studies section head at ANRPC

Worked as Automatic Fire and gas detection section head (in addition to my responsibilities in HSE technical studies section) with the experience of:

- Setting the HSE, fire safety requirements, firefighting and automatic fire & gas detection systems requirements and reviewing the contractors technical offers for:

 The new industrial waste water treatment unit “IWWTU“.
 The new gasoline loading station and for the new unloading pump station.
 New administration building and reviewing the contractors technical offers.

- Reviewing and approving the contractual documents of the new CCR project, to assure that all the HSE managerial and technical aspects are well covered.
- Reviewing and approving the loss prevention documents (QRA, Fire water demand, Fire protection philosophy, firefighting eq. specs, firefighting eq. layouts, fire & gas detection systems philosophy, fire & gas detection devices specs, fire consequence and gas dispersion study .. etc. ) of the new CCR unit project.
- Attending the 3D model review sessions, HAZID and HAZOP studies sessions of the new CCR unit project and reviewing the out coming documents.
- Attending the Factory Acceptance Tests of the fire and gas detection system package for the new CCR unit project in Italy
- Setting the specs and requirements for supplying new firefighting and safety equipment in the company.
- Modifying and upgrading the cause and effect of the existing fire and gas detection system.
- Creating a new training materials and conducting training sessions about the fire & gas detection systems in the company and the new firefighting vehicle operation.
- Updating and upgrading the preventive maintenance plan and records documentation of the Automatic detection and firefighting system.
- Being responsible for the monitoring the preventive maintenance of the automatic detection and firefighting systems in the company and their future upgrades.
- Contributing in setting the specs. of fire & gas detection systems and firefighting systems in the following locations then contributed in the commissioning and activation of the systems:

 The main warehouse.
 The old administration building.
 The main boiler Control room and substation.
