• Managing the overall operations of the rigs and growing their existing business
• Managing rigs maintenance and upgrades in a timely and cost effective manner
• Promote the principles of continuous improvement
• Monitoring and managing financial performance, minimize cost and rigs downtime, maximize performance, monitor and report profits and losses
• To ensure the maintenance program is properly implemented and maintained on each assigned rig
• Checking the expenses and ensure that the equipment are indeed up to date so as to provide quality work toward the client
• Guide rig personnel in pre-planning the upcoming jobs with materials on hand to ensure that all planned and unplanned opportunities are maximized
• Ensure that the engineering designs, operations, practices and training meets the desired outcome of the company and clients
• Maintain good two way communication with team members at the rig and base
• Liaise with the client's representatives, in the execution of contract obligations
• Assist in annual budget preparations and cost control procedures and be accountable for rig operating budget results
• Facilitate good resource planning, developmental training and succession planning processes
• Directing the activities of rig operations in accordance with company safety regulations and operating procedures
• Increase productivity and minimize the risk of personal injury, environmental damage, and asset damage
• Visit designated operations area on frequent basis to foster safe operations and focus on performance
• 24 hour Well Site Supervision for high pressure wells, straight
hole, horizontal, Slot Recovery, re-completion wells.
• Initiated and maintained safety policies and procedures.
• Conducted regular meetings with all necessary personnel in
order to outline daily objectives, safety issues, training and
any special instructions to be implemented.
• Managed, supervised, and coordinated daily operations
involving drilling and all personnel.
• Scheduled 3rd party services in a cost efficient and timely
manner.
• Managed and maintained operation expenditures.
• Prepared and submitted daily reports.
• Ensure that all drilling equipment is operated correctly and
maintained accordingly.
• Handle responsibilities of providing direction to major
engineering projects and technical services.
• Management of the day-to-day drilling activities.
• Responsible for monitoring and providing support to drilling
technicians on a daily basis.
• Monitor drilling equipment and procedures to reduce cost and
increase drilling efficiency.
• Adherence safety practices, environmental and other
governmental laws and policies.
• Managing the set up and take down of rigs.
• Perform various research to solve drilling problems and
recommend ideas to enhance drilling performance.
• First supervisor in Sudan leads a turnkey project in Block 17.
• 24 hour Well Site Supervision for high pressure wells, straight
hole, horizontal, Slot Recovery, re-completion wells.

Contractors/Bidders. monitoring and tracking drilling
operation from head office.. etc).
• 24 hours Well Site Operation Supervision.

- Checking the safety procedure for transportation of Petroleum derivatives ( Diesel, Benzene) as per the company standards.
