• Controlling, developing and restructuring the accounts department for Al-Jaber Engineering subsidiaries “ATS, ITL, ITD, ASMA, APDC, ASC, J&M, IDG, CET, INC, BIMTEC, Gulf Alberta, Emcon and Delmon Scaffolding”.
• Evaluate the current internal control procedures.
• Evaluate the currently used accounting packages.
• Evaluate the performance, capabilities and qualifications of the subsidiaries accounts departments and personnel.
• Prepare a through report illustrating the findings, observations, weaknesses and other relevant details and how to rectify the shortcomings and improve efficiency.
• Create unified reporting mechanism/standards for subsidiaries to follow.
• Create summary monthly/quarterly reports for BOD.
• Working closely with JEC Finance manager in obtaining competitive financing from the banks we deal with
• Replace, terminate unqualified staff, and to recruit and hire capable / qualified staff
• Review and update the internal control procedures and ensure that they are implemented effectively
• Prepare and create an accounting manual/guidelines to be distributed for accountants and concerned staff to follow
• Monthly meeting to be conducted with the GM of each subsidiary discussing the performance of the company .GM`s comments on results need to be included in the monthly report.
• Provides timely and accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports

• Develop financial systems and controls in each country of operation of the MENA region and ensure compliance with both international and local regulations in those countries.
• Oversee preparation of local accounts in each country of operation

• Ensure client billing is accurate and that invoices are generated within the specified timeframe.
• Perform the following monthly reconciliations: Bank, Fixed Assets, Inter-Company, debtors/creditors etc.
