Job Description

I'm working here shipping containers inspection & maintenance also included work with estimation of damage materials for maintenance & repair of marine containers.

 Containers Inspection for repairing requirements to industry standards in a systematic, cost effective and timely manner to meet operational timelines and client stock requests
 Highly skilled in operating a variety of office machines and equipment such as computer, fax, scanner and copier
 Performed data entry-alpha and numeric data entry to add new records, verify, correct, edit, and change
 Container Survey ( IICL, Cargo Worthy, Wind and Water Tight)
 Getting repair approval from Liner.
 Sending repair estimations through online coding & ms excel system as per required by the liner
 Co-ordination with liners, workers and management
 Sending daily in and out reports & containers status report to Liners.
 Complete repair estimates detailing the expected labor time, repair method and materials required.
 Ensure that all estimates are written accurately and clearly.
 Deliver repair estimates to the office at regular intervals throughout the day to ensure efficient processing.
 Quality inspection of welded parts and after repairing product also knowledge of all fabrication procedure.
 Ensures compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Perform all location and procurement of applicable parts and equipment for repair and maintenance; maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Complete purchase orders, review invoices for accuracy, ensure proper levels of inventory are received.

• Inspect and test equipment repairs to monitor proper functioning; ensure customer satisfaction

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• Responsible in exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self & others in the organization

• Responsible for reporting to superior occurrences, events, violations and acts that may impact staff health and safety or the environment
