•Working as part of Modern Architecture Contracting Co. Branch MACC/ KAUST supplemental manpower team (SMP) with the Engineering and Project Management (E&PM) team.
•Support audit procedures to check all procedures, processes and work standards.
•Conduct safety audits and inspections on labs and offices projects within KAUST campus and residential area.
•Regularly inspect the campus, residential, facilities and lab areas to ensure that they met fire, hazard and safety guidelines.
•Ensure that all HSE plans/procedures are effectively implemented in all project areas.
•Attend the monthly safety meetings to ensure the campus operation safety.
•Design programs, policies, and procedures that will be implemented to reduce or eliminate workplace injuries and hazards.
•Ensure that all incidents and near misses are reported using the Report-it portal and properly closed out as per KAUST HSE policies and procedures.
•Provide instructions to the staff during fire drills including evacuation routes and proper reporting techniques.
•Conduct investigations into incidents and reported on findings.
•Investigate accidents and hazardous incidents to determine cause and made recommendations for corrective action.
•Participate as a part of incident investigation and root cause analysis team.
•Update, review and share the weekly permit to work tracking sheet with the management, operation and
maintenance teams.
•Review, recommend necessary precautions and approve work permits, Risk Assessments, Aspect/Impact Study and all related documents for the activities in coordination with our project team.
•Ensure that all non-conformance reports (NCRs) raised are closed out properly within the stipulated time.
