I worked remotely for Joint Scopes company which is located in Dubai, our client was Dubai Police.

The projects we worked on:

IMS: Insurance Management System developed for Dubai Police, enables the client to manage the entire insurance system, add claims of different types, contracts, insurance assets, reimbursements, add and control users and roles, plus providing reports, the backend used to expose Rest APIs built with Spring, while the frontend side used Angular to consume the APIs.


Asset Importer: A tool used to migrate insurance assets and claims of different types from excel sheets into the database in a polymorphic way.

 Projects Overview:

VF-UK - our mission was to develop and maintain the web application for Vodafone UK, the main technologies used are ATG, JSP, web services, Agile and Junit.

WFM - we used Agile, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript, Junit, Maven, Hudson CI and Spring Security to build resource management tool that was responsible for helping managers investigate the status of the resources and their allocation.

ESO - We used Node.JS as the backend and Angular.JS as the frontend to build our system which aimed at managing solutions inside HP, the services were exposed as REST APIs and the version control system used was GIT, the IDE used was WebStorm, we worked through Agile model, we worked for this project for 1.5 year.

What We Build (WWB) - Similar to ESO project, used Node.js, Angular.js, Git and Agile, we worked for this project for about 6 months.

EPOS - Targeted client is VF Germany shops, technologies used included Java, XML technologies like Schema, Transformation, Xpath and Junit.

SiliconExpert provides to its suppliers full information about parts and chips through its huge database which contains over 150 million parts and over 9000 suppliers, I was working in a project called Automation system which was responsible for automating the process of entering and handling data and stepping through various phases of the work of the data teams in an automated manner. We used GWT technology to build the web application of the automation system, we used Hibernate as the ORM to handle the database, Liferay portal was our application server to deploy our application.
