A Highly Motivated Data Center and DR operations manager with experience in people leadership to ensure efficient teamwork, technical support as well as datacenter operations, which covers the scope of capacity planning, racks delivery, installation, engineering, decommission and incident management. In Addition This role is responsible for managing a team of 7/24 operations to provide overall datacenter support in hardware and software of server, storage, communication and network equipment for two sites ( Main Datacenter and DR Datacenter)

· Manage the performance and maintenance of Data centers equipment.

· Manage the performance of team(s) of data centers operation processionals
· Manage the performance and maintenance of Data centers equipment.
· Managing IT Operations and System Administration team to perform Basic Operator tasks plus the Hardware and software administrative Tasks on Production, Test and Development IBM Power 7, 8 & 9 servers
· Engage with Risk team in preparing the BIA Document.
· Create the yearly DR Plan and assign Disaster teams.
· Coordinate with local and global IT teams to meet the DR test scenario.
· Perform a yearly DR Test and managing to meet the RTO and RPO for each system.
· 24/7 Monitor and Contact of vendors to collect logs and report any unusual behavior of Datacenters equipment including
- IT assets (Servers, racks, communication devices, communication lines, cable management and security appliances )
- Facility assets (UPSs, Generators, Power equipment, Environmental sensors, Water leak sensors and system, Fire alarm system, Fire fighting system, DCIM and Access control system)
· Fast learn or act as the subject matter expert across all aspects in data center equipment
· Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are being measured and met
· Manage Large Scale Events (outages) and act as the call leader
· Manage and improve the work-flows and through-put for data centers and core banking operations.
Senior Arab Bank IT Operator Consists of Basic Operator tasks plus the Hardware and software administrative Tasks on Production, Test and Development IBM Power 7, 8 & 9 servers By Achieving Many Tasks such as :
. Keep up to date with the Core Banking System architectural components, transaction processing workflow,
• Perform Core Banking System parametrization requests raised by the parametrization committee as well as a periodic parametrization changes like calendar, financial periods …
• Ensure Core Banking System’s production and test environments data integrity and proper functioning and problem solving.
• Assist Data center manager in creating of backup and replication policies for Core Banking System database
• Help Quality Assurance spesialist to prepare a test cases to be conducted in UAT servers for a fixes/patches sent by the Vendor before moving to production.
• Help software developers to find/confirm a required information sources in the Core Banking System database objects
Working as an Arab Bank IT Operator Consists of Datacenter Operator and also a Core banking Support to be able to take responsibility for Data Centers Sites (HO and DR), End of day Processing, New Queries On Live Databases, All Live Services Backend Support, All Live Banking Services Availability And Data Backup.
Back Office For All The Bank Activities related to cards issued by The Bank by performing some tasks such as Reviewing the Retail customers transactions and investigate cases which requested to be refunded and to reconcile the transactions against the vendors requests.
supporting Etisalat customers with their problems and to solve it over the phone " mostly related to network or configuration" also to support all the customer inquiries even it was related to technical issues or non technical .
