- providing legal advice to different clients, both individual and corporate, national and international, and assisting them with interpretation of complex legal document to ensure that all concerned are as knowledgeable as possible to minimize and avid any errors/risk;
- preparing, drafting and reviewing clients’ contracts and agreements, MOU, Confidentiality Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements and others, to ascertain and conform that they are legally correct, by closely scrutinizing the contents for accuracy and by ensuring that the correct level of legal authority has been provided;
- attending meetings, internal and external, as and when required, to find out legal solutions for any legal issue of any nature, dispute and / or conflict which could not be resolved through normal administrative channels;
- assisting in representation of clients in wide range of commercial litigations, civil and commercial contract disputes, mediation and alternate dispute resolution proceeding and evaluating findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases;
- initiating court cases for clients, within the whole of the UAE, by preparing the legal work and necessary documentation to submit to Court;
- examining legal documents submitted to court for adherence to law or court procedures;
- dealing with any requests by the Court for further information, either directly or indirectly, to ensure that each case is represented with as much supporting evidence as possible to avoid any unnecessary delays in the pronouncement of judgments and reliefs (contacting witnesses, attorneys, and clients to obtain information for court, and instructing parties when to appear in court);
- following up the execution procedures (e.g. attachments, sales arrest, order, etc.);
- supervising and coordinating activities of subordinate legal personnel;
- providing personnel assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving human relations and work performance problems within establishment to facilitate communication and improve employee human relations skills and work performance
- all tasks directly and indirectly related to field collection
- supervising and coordinating activities of a team of 8 people and total recovery and field collections operations
- manage the day-to-day planning and problem-solving of a team to meet the required performance levels and targets
- people management including HR related issues as well as training and staff development and appraisal
- working closely with team members to solve customer problems offering suggestions and advice
- assessing and reporting results
- continuation of duties and responsibilities as a field collector along with:
- supervising and coordinating activities of a team of 6 people (in coordination of a broader team of about 20 people) and total recovery and field collections operations
- manage the day-to-day planning and problem-solving of a team to meet the required performance levels and targets
- people management including HR related issues as well as training and staff development and appraisal
- working closely with team members to solve customer problems offering suggestions and advice
- assessing and reporting results
- advising customers to legal rights; receiving and processing collection items;
- tracing unpaid items to determine reasons for non-payment and notifying customer of disposition and subsequently filing legal cases;
- notifying and locating customers with delinquent accounts and securing payment, using telephone, or personal visit persuading customer to pay amount due or arranged for payment at later date;
- conferring with customer by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer;
- debiting bank account and crediting customer’s account to liquidate outstanding collection;
- computing and entering information into computer system, to record customer’s outstanding balance;
- notifying credit department if customer failed to respond;
- recording information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts;
- tracing customer to new addresses or places of work.
