• Working with deals assigned to the sales team supporting, prioritizing efforts based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit as directed by the sales manager.
• Review and analyze client’s tender packages for technology systems defined under Low Current systems.
• Provide technical designs for low current network (Infrastructure Data - CCTV - IP Telephone - Access Control - Digital Signage & Public Address Sound System).
• Design and Engineering of Structured Cabling Systems and Solutions including (Backbones Infrastructure - Data centers - Copper & Fiber Optic solutions).
• Provides the technical response (Compliance) and to support the sales team with developing the BOQs and preparing the commercial and technical quotations & data sheets.
• Provide technical analysis for the proposed solution to detail any potential design failure in the provided tender or any potential for value engineering.
• Coordinate with team member to check overall design compatibility of the proposed Low current solution with other disciplines for integration and coordination.
• Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements or needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
• Coordinates closely with sales team and service resources to align solutions designed with customers’ business requirements.
• Manage and control the project overall scope of work to ensure project design/proposal completion according to the project guidelines and quality required.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction which should result from proficient design and honest commitment.
• Work with the selected vendors and follow-up with the technology advancements in today's market.
• Catching new suppliers and vendors, and creating relationships with them.
• Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
• Research, design, fabricate, and install HVAC mechanical equipment to meet client’s requirements in both large and small projects.
• Work with the technical office teams to oversee, and sometimes complete, the design of product blueprints using computer aided design (CAD) according to the site.
• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
• Controls project plan by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and recommending actions.
• Interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and in budget.
• Plans the execution of all Mechanical related works and coordinates the works to Electrical and civil groups.
• Oversee project workflow and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects, expected quality, and allotted budget.
• Visits job site frequently and performs work inspections, check job progress, and resolves project and contract issues.
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on a regular basis or as required.
• Manage all metal duct components and install all HVAC systems and monitor all provide resolutions for all emergency alarm in systems and perform repair to all ventilating and air conditioning units.
• Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new HVAC equipment.
• Attends regular meeting with client, civil engineers and consultant to provide update on project progress.
• Coordinates with purchasing and shipping/receiving for all delivery of equipment and materials to jobsite.
• Monitor the installation of equipment, pipe networks, brazing procedure, ductwork and air outlets to assure the installation quality in reference to the project’s approved shop drawings, specifications and local regulations.
• Deliver the equipment and installations to the consultant to confirm the receiving and finalize the bills or to create project billing.
• Approve the subcontractor installations and prepare take off to confirm the subcontractor bill release.
• Performs proper Factory authorized start-up, commissioning and service of VRV/ VRF equipment, following all manufacturers guidelines.
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
• Provide advanced technical support via telephone, email and customer site visits
• Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue
• Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem
• Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
• Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
• Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
• Sufficient knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, workflow processes, and procedures to resolve most inquiries independently.
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
• Maintain jovial relationships with clients
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all printers assigned to departments.
• Implements and monitors a preventative maintenance to assure cost effective maintenance program scheduled according to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Responsible of ordering all required spare parts and consumables (Toners, Drums, Maintenance Kits)
• Responsible for the procurement of all existing printers, or replacing the entire set of printers after a prescribed period of usage is complete.
• Create departmental expense (monthly invoice) and capital budgets, to submit for approval of management.
• Manage, assign, and track use of all printers as required.
• Responsible for implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings, methods and safety rules.
• Responsibilities include mechanical drainage, water supply, HVAC, fire protection and as well as other related mechanical utility systems.
• Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all Mechanical and related works prior to execution.
• Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the MEP Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
• Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
• Plans the execution of all Mechanical related works and coordinates the works to Electrical and civil groups.
• Manages directly and provide engineering technical supports to all the Mechanical work groups at site.
• Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all Mechanical groups at site.
• Lead site personnel to execute and completion of job on time at site.
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
• Supports the MEP Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the Mechanical and electrical groups at site.
• Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
• Directly responsible for the safety of all Mechanical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
• Attends regular meeting with client, civil engineers and consultant to provide update on project progress.
• Pre-resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems at site that may arise at any time.
• Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the mechanical services works for Contractor’s adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant’s specification.
• Witness on-site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing and other testing that may be required during the first fix works and advise the Project Manager accordingly.
