• Polymer pilot design and implementation in Southern Llanos basin; determined the suitable EOR technology for the field; designed an EOR program and required lab work to determine potential agents for the reservoir; modeled the EOR scheme in lab scale and field level for the area of interest, to investigate the potential incremental recovery and economics for pilot evaluation; pilot locations screening/proposal and corresponding facility design; designed the monitoring and surveillance program; successful polymer pilot in two inverted 5-spot patterns.
• Created functioning dynamic model for long-term corporate planning, history match oil field production and well performance in collaboration with geologists and petrophysics and generate probabilistic long-term volumes forecasts for Cabrestero and LLA-34 assets (~50, 000 barrel/day).
• Delivered and executed development plan (infills and pattern water-flood opportunities) at cost of more than 100 MMUS$ for Southern Llanos fields based on analytical and reservoir simulation techniques, and production
surveillance proposal.
• Delivered and executed development plan for condensate recovery and gas recycling in VIM gas condensate field (Le Belleza) using history matched dynamic model including economic analysis of multiple development scenarios (~4000 boe/day).
• Successful horizontal well development and proposal in tilted water-oil contact reservoirs to enhance the oil
production rate and recovery/reserves.
• Advisory role for reservoir engineering within corporate: QC/Review dynamic models, A&D opportunities, EOR
evaluation/screening, reserve evaluations and reviews with GLJ, thermodynamic modelling, fluid sampling, design of lab experiments (routine tests and gas miscible flood), SCAL programs, asphaltene treatment planning for Capachos and Arauca fields, etc.
• Completed two B&D full reservoir engineering evaluations (Fields in Putumayo basin and CPO-9 block) including the required economics for bidding process.
• Collaborated with geologists and geophysics, dynamically quality checking and testing new geologic models,
volumetric calculations.
• Reviewed and monitored day-to-day production rates and surveillance of water-flood patterns and wells.
• Proposed initial completion design as well as workovers and stimulations such as Fracs, Stim Gun, and Chemicals.
• Coordinating and communicating with partners (Geopark, Ecopetrol, and Frontera) to facilitate necessary activities in the joint fields.

• Provided reservoir engineering advice to technology and asset teams: reserve evaluation, long term planning,
reservoir model creation, QC and analysis of input data, design of experiment, understanding of underlying physics, training courses, pilot design, etc.
• Supported technology and asset teams for their reservoir modelling, history matching, and probabilistic forecasts using both CMG and Intersect packages.

◦ Evaluation of low GHG processes in Firebag reservoir: wellbore modelling and analysis, history matching of productions and development of depletion strategies, pilot design, etc.
