RAN Solution Manager
Responsibilities
• Be responsible for the assigned solution and opportunity and be the point of contact towards the customer.
• Identify and support add-on sales opportunities during contract fulfillment.
• Establish and maintain an interface with the customer.
• Make sure that competitive technical offers are submitted with the latest products and features.
• Keep the CSSS manager informed about progress and relevant matters related to the main tasks
As Solution Management
• Prepare and verify BoM
• Prepare and verify the SoC responses.
• Verify dimensioning and where required perform the required dimensioning.
• Prepare and approve Solution proposals.
• Make customer presentations on proposed solutions and future roadmaps. (At least one every quarter)
• Drive the technical activities in the pre-sales process.
• Drive solution design activities during the tender.
• Co-ordinate with project and supply organizations during roll-out and ordering.
• Prepare and fill exemption forms for non-GA and phased out products
• Keep MU and BU updated on the current market situation (key customer requirements, competitor activity and tactics)
• Participate in negotiations with customers
• Prepare SWOT analysis and value argumentation for the solution area
• Push SW sales.
Network Modeling
• Collect network specification/requirement and assumption
• Analyze network specifications
• Produce initial Demand/Traffic Forecast
• Select network topology and strategy
• Liaise with the Product Manager
• Produce Initial Network Configuration (= Network Model)
• Produce high level Bill of Quantity
Access Support Specialist
• As Access Support Engineer in Managed Services Dept. & Care Dept.
- Responsible for controlling and Monitor Region 1&3 Access support engineering for 35 live Nokia BSCs and more than 1200 BTSs.
- Developing and implementing procedures and standards that will provide effective workflows and satisfy the business needs of the Company
- Nokia BSS and Transmission Troubleshooting, maintenance and performance support & Emergency On-Call Support.
- Carry out Fault clearance on Nokia BSS and Transmission under the direction of the Network Operation Centre(NOC)
- Carry out and follows up preventive maintenance activities for region 1&3 of Irancell Project, including site maintenance and related acceptance
- BSC data base & SW update and new site integration
- Nokia BTS and MW (Tellabs, FIU19, Flexi hopper, …) Commissioning and Integration
- BTS expansion according to Planed Works for network expansion
- Ensure that high quality Nokia BTS sites are brought on air as quickly as possible to maximize coverage and capacity.
- Ensure that Nokia BSS and Nokia MW equipments are thoroughly tested and accepted in a timely manner
- Maintained BSS Nokia MW equipment (Tellabs, FIU 19), integration and commissioning.
- Upgrading Nokia BSC’s from s11 and s11.5 to s12 with related CD’s for more than 20 BSCs
- I am a member of Nokia Siemens Network Care Department for MTN/Irancell the second operator of country and MCCI (Mobile Communication Company of Iran) the first Mobile Operator in Iran with more than 30 million subscribers.
