Process Plant Operator at Sonatrach

Operate Process equipments (pumps; Glycol regeneration skid; heaters; Air coolers,
Turbo expander magnetic Bearing, and Compressor gas turbine.
- Plant start up and shut down, According to procedures.
- Control the injection rates of all plant chemicals to ensure safe process operation.
-Operate utilities units (Air separation and instrument air production Unit.; Nitrogen
Production unit...)
- Storage thanks (condensate, diesel, amine, and glycol).
-Plant daily inspections.
-Preparation of equipment for maintenance (Isolation and venting or draining)
- Plant reinstatement and leak test after maintenance activities.
- respond to, and address, callouts and emergencies after regular business hours including
after dark hours, which requires carrying a communication dedevic
- Knowledge of compressors, pump stations, gas treatment, storage facilities, process
plant, gather transmission, and pipeline system operations.
- Knowledge reading and interpreting blueprints, piping and instrumentation diagrams
(P&IDs) and other diagrams.
-Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquid, and
high/low pressure systems.
- Knowledge and experience with electrical switch gear, power distribution, electronic
circuits, electronic test and measurement instruments, the National Electric Codes is a
plus.
- Monitored all pumping wells and ensured its proper functioning.
- Ensured that all wells were producing at maximum rates. Examined proper lubrication
and functioning of pumps and mechanical equipment.
- Ensured timely reparation of equipment.
- Performed equipment and vehicle cleanliness and maintenance when required.
-Performed line surveys and leak detection monitoring and line spots one-calls.
-Identified and reported any Safety problems to field Supervisor.
