Abu Dhabi Ports is a leader in the development of world-class ports and industrial zones with the most technologically advanced container terminal in the Middle East region. Abu Dhabi Ports is also the port authority of all commercial and community ports across the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

I began working with Abu Dhabi Ports as a Marketing Specialist focusing on developing the marketing function within the Ports business unit. Two years following this role, I was promoted to corporate marketing manager to head the marketing and communications for the corporate brand and its subsidiaries.

Working closely with the commercial team and senior management have given me considerable knowledge of the maritime and shipping industry. I was able to assist the management in centralizing the marketing and communications functions under the corporate.

Pragma is a privately owned investment group focusing on defined vertical industries and equipped by unparalleled expertise of its management team and associated partners. B Communications, a member of Pragma, is a Live Communications agency specialising in tailor-made events, communications, and F&B conceptual services that aim at bringing brands, corporate messages and concepts to life.

I have joined the group as the Client Services Director of the advertising and events arm, B Communications. My core responsibilities were to restructure the team of the advertising and creative function in addition to developing the business by retaining existing and acquiring new clients. One of my key accomplishments was acquiring a number of new clients like J&J Vision Care Products, Gillette and Dubai Internet City.

Soon after the strategic direction from the board of directors to focus on the Group's luxury F&B investments, I have been promoted to the Group Marketing Director position to handle the marketing and communications for the entire corporate and subsidiaries' brands.

Fortune Promoseven (FP7), a member of MCN Holding, is a leading advertising agency in the Middle East and North Africa since 1968. Being part of Interpublic Group (IPG), MCN holds a portfolio of advertising, communications, marketing and media agencies across 14 countries in the region.

In 2004, I joined FP7 as an Account Manager on a couple of accounts with local, regional and international presence. I handled the entire protfolio of Etisalat Telecommunications brands across the emirates and soon expanded to exclusively take the responsibility of its operation in Sudan- Canar Telecommunications.

I was promoted to the position of Account Director. Part of my responsibilities included managing the different teams reporting to me in the head office and liaising with those in the representative offices across the markets. It very much required the restructuring of the teams and relationships of different offices to support on the requirements.

Additionally, the group of clients increased to include four of the leading real estate development companies in Dubai. With collective annual media budgets exceeding $50 million, Meeras Development, Nakheel, Bonyan and Al Barari were the key accounts I handled in the agency to serve their advertising, communications and media requirements.

Following the continuous accomplishments and successful relationships with the clients, I was given the responsibility of handling one of the top accounts in the agency, the National Commercial Bank (NCB) based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. All creative developments of print, TV and digital material were done out of the head office in Dubai with the support of Saudi offices.

Publicis Middle East formerly known as Publicis.Graphics and a member of the internally renowned Publicis Groupe, is one of the leading advertising agencies in the Middle East.

I began working at Publicis as an Account Executive and was promoted twice in the following two years to Senior Account Executive and Account Manager.

I supported on a couple of regional accounts to take full responsibility in less than two years of both Groupe SEB/ Tefal and Red Bull.

Following this capacity, I have taken over Burger King UAE where Saudi market was added shortly afterwards.

I have also managed the regional clients of the international group- Publicis like UBS Switzerland, Droga Slovenia, Seiko and Hitachi from Japan.
