Duties: Worked at the Main office and assisted the Director and the Resident Manager in the Operation and follow-up on many Construction & Design development projects in addition to coordination with Stakeholders & Authorities. Prepared contracts, proposal, invoices and reviewed claims. Reported to the Director the status of Projects & expenditures and scheduled demobilization of site employees.
Major Projects: worked as a project engineer for many confidential design development projects including Yasmeen City project at Lusail; a Mixed-use development to accommodate a total population of around 21, 000 over a 46-Hectare site area and a Total Gross Floor Area of 1 Million m2.
Duties: Worked on site and at the Main office and participated in numerous concurrent projects at different phases from early design conceptual stages till construction completion, handing over and operation & maintenance.
Construction Supervision
Worked with the Project Manager (PM) on site in leading the project, prepared progress reports, presentations to clients and reviewed construction schedules. Acted as a liaison with Clients, Contractors & local authorities. Prepared Invoices, reviewed claims and assisted the PM on all contractual matters. Followed testing and commissioning, training activities for the End-User & Handing over. Assisted the PM in the yearly staff evaluation and demobilization schedules. Represented the company at visits and industry events.
Design Development
Coordinated the design development from the early concept meetings until issuance of tender documents. Served as a liaison between the clients and the design Staff and coordinated clients approvals, provided weekly status updates to clients, managed Design Workshops with the clients, corresponded with utility providers, municipalities and local authorities, participated in preparing a design guideline booklets, prepared invoices and ensured proper filing and records management.
Tendering
Participated in preparing the tendering documents, prepared notices to bidders, evaluated bids and presented bids to client, ensured proper documentation and control for drawings and BOQ revisions submitted to the contractor.
Operation & Maintenance
Worked to facilitate transition phase from construction to O&M and establishment of the organization Structure, Supervised the performance of around 120 Engineers/Staff, Monitored closure of Corrective and Preventive work orders, followed and reviewed the monthly progress reports, KPI issuance and invoices and monitored outgoing correspondences to ensure adherence with contractual Terms and Conditions, followed clients change order requests.
Major Project:
Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University (PNU), Riyadh, KSA (2009-2015)
Oversaw the construction supervision, and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of $10-billion education complex project for up to 60, 000 students with total built-up area of approximately 3 million m2.
Government Agencies Compound (GAC), Riyadh, KSA (2014-2015)
Participated in the design development and construction for project focused on providing infrastructure services for government complex with total site area of approximately 5.7 million m2 and total gross floor area of approximately 2.4 million m2.
Relocation of Khurais Village, KSA (2014-2015)
Managed infrastructure design of 910 lots with plan area of 2 million m2 as well as five mosques, two school complexes, and four government complexes.
In addition, I assumed specific tasks for Madina expansion projects (including the expansion of Prophet Muhammad Holy Mosque).
