Identifying students with learning difficulties through direct monitoring and teachers feedback;
- Set up action plans to provide support for students;
- Prepare IEP’s (Individual Education Plans ) for students with learning difficulties;
- Observe students with special needs within the classroom to provide proper support and guidance;
- Communicate effectively with students with special learning difficulties;
- Prepare weekly monitoring forms ( signed by parents ) to track students progress;
- Prepare end of term reports to monitor students progress;
- Use inventive methods with the students who need support to ease the learning process;
- Work in cooperation with parents to improve the students' outcomes;
- Coordinate between the teachers and special needs students;
- Coordinate between the teachers and the parents;
- Train teachers on the strategies used with each of the students with learning difficulties;
- Keep detailed records of the progress achieved by each student;
- Monitor the social, emotional, and physical well being of the students;
- Encourage the students with special needs to improve their social skills by enrolling them in extracurricular activities;
- Model & encourage appropriate social skills for those students with communication & social interaction difficulties;
- Prepare a merit system to reward students for their outstanding behavioral or academic performance;
- Give out certificates and gifts to encourage students and keep them motivated.
Supervise lesson plans, activities, assessments, and all documentations related to science
- Monitor teachers performance to provide the proper guidance;
- Provide support for science teacher through planning;
- Amend lesson plans and sheets to suite the level of the students without altering the basic concepts nor the yearly plan;
- Coordinate between parents and teachers regarding any inquiries about science;
- Teach science for grade 4 & 5;
- Prepare differentiated lesson plans and activities;
- Communicate with parents for support and feedback;
- Prepare result analysis at the end of term to monitor the students’ academic progress
- Develop action plans based on the finding of result analysis;
- Regular staff meetings to discuss science department issues;
- Support students on curriculum-related tasks and aid them in overcoming barriers to learning.
- Support students on a one-to-one basis in specific cases and in others support the whole class.
- Ensure that the students do not become isolated or appear different from their peers.
- Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to the young people, to help build up their self-esteem and confidence.
- Monitoring the social, emotional and physical wellbeing of the students.
- Teaching students with special needs (English language B) by using several selected resources (Books, videos, articles, etc….), that meets the needs of each and every one of them.
- Planning and preparing lessons and grading papers.
- Always available to give my students any extra help they may need at my free periods and break times.
- Measuring the growth of a student's knowledge and skills using the MYP rubrics.
- Clarifying the objective and the criteria of the assignment and the evaluation standards.
- Overseeing study halls and supervising extracurricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with students with specific additional support needs.
- Amending the curriculum and the assessments to suite each and every student’s level.
- Looking for and trying out innovative approaches to improve their skills and learning abilities.
- Dealing professionally with any disruptive pupils even when placed under pressure.
- Preparing regular reports on student’s accomplishment for all the studied subjects.
- Able to interest and involve the students and encourage them to learn, develop and interact.

- Observe pupils in more than one subject area and suggesting strategies that they’ve seen work for particular problems with particular pupils.

- Teaching Combined Sciences and English to MYP students.
