Sheikh Jaber Causeway Project
Project Description:
The Project is one of the most important projects in Kuwait, it is connecting Shuwaikh with Subiyah area through Kuwait Sea, and it includes 20 total Buildings serving the Causeway Bridge located on Shuwaikh, Bay Island South & North and Subiyah.
The Causeway Main Administration Building and Visitor Center is the most important building of the 20 buildings, it is located at Shuwaikh reclamation area. The Building has a 45 meters Observatory Tower overseeing the Sheikh Jaber Causeway Bridge.
Job Description: Enrolled in the Design and Material Finishes Proposals for Approval along with the coordination with the client, consultant, subcontractors and suppliers. And coordinating the work.
Job Responsibilities:
1- Design & Construction Department:
- Regular meetings were held with the subcontractors & suppliers to discuss the design of each building, its material finishes quantity, location and required details & options.
- My responsibilities in the Administration Building & Visitor Center were more than submitting materials for approval, but I was proposing options the material quality, texture and color that matches every room as per the required specifications and close to what the Project Designer recommends as the project is “Design and Build”.
- Responsible for the Finishing Material Submittals for Approval for all the 19 Buildings located at Shuwaikh, Bay Island South & North and Subiyah.
- Coordinating all material and related letters & Transmittal with the Client (PART) & the Consultant (Dar Al-Handasah & SSH) after coordinating some work with the site engineer.
- Preparing Presentations for the 19 buildings for the concerned End Users, and also presenting it to them and taking their comments and recommendations on some changes in their buildings.
- Taking the final approval of the material finishes from the Managing Director of PART, by presenting the material finishes in big posters for each room finishes in Visitor Center Building.
- Working on design alternatives for some items in Administration Building & Visitor Center.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers and managing budgets and resources.
- Maintaining a positive and enjoyable working environment.
2- QA/QC Department:
- Coordination with site engineers regarding the pending work at site.
- Responsible for the Monthly Report for the project to track the work.
3- Project Control:
- In RA140 Project, beside my engineering work, one of the responsibilities was preparing the Monthly Catalog, Monthly Progress Video and the Yearly Video for the project. (2016 to 2018)
- One of my responsibilities was to coordinate with a second party, to do an Animation Video for RA140 Project to show the project components & technical details, I prepared all the sequences needed and all the requirements with the necessary scenario in Arabic & English, and I did all the 3D work for the video. (2015)
- I made videos and Brochures for RA210 - Interchanges on the Western Part of 5th Ring Road project & RA263 construction and maintenance of Al-Ghouse road from 5th to 6th Ring Road
- Preparing Posters for RA140 Project work to hang them at Site for the Visitors.

Job Description:
I was involved in the design process of some projects.
Responsibilities:
- Designing the reception desk and the arrangement of the reception area furniture.
- Designing the ceiling plans for some Zones in “Al-Seera” Project.
- Auditorium Seating Arrangements based on the Nuefert Standards and acoustical studies in “Kuwait National Guard” Project.
• Bachelor of Architectural Engineering in University of Sharjah, UAE, Graduated from AL- Ekhlas high school in Kuwait • Worked as vice president in the Architectural Club, SASA (Sharjah Architectural Student Association) in my second year and third year as well, with many activities that serves socializing and improving Architectural Department interior design and study plans. • Worked in 4-student Club to develop a website for the university • Contributed in many activities that serves my major like, "Color Your Life" event in my third year in UoS that helped freshmen to learn different skills regarding their major • Got my internship in GC for 3 months and a half in 2012 and 2013 and worked in interior and exterior designs in the company
