After I have been awarded the MD, I worked as specialist at Ahmed Gassim Pediatrics Hospital for 4 months.I had a unit over there and I was responsible of house officers, medical officers and registrars.And the unit was covering emergency duties.referred clinics and rounds.and submitting tutorials and discussion sessions. After that unfortunately, I stopped working in the medical field for 12 years due to family obstacles.On september 2012 I started training in Al-Hajjra hospital in the pediatric department for 1 year . Then I joined the B.L.S course.Then I sat for the exam of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and awarded the accreditation and registration of the H.C.H.S on may 2012 .
During residency period, I worked at different university and teaching hospitals in Khartoum covering different pediatric emergencies, following up admitted patients, covering referred clinics and participating in other activities of the unit and hospital like grand and registrar rounds, discussion of difficult and rare cases, journal clubs, and teaching of junior doctors and medical students...etc.
After completing the houseman ship successfully, I worked as a medical officer for 2 years in Police Centeral Hospital in the paediatric department, covering the out patient clinics and following up admitted patients in the wards. Then I has been selected to join the paediatrics course of the Sudan Medical Specialisation Board in the period from april1996 up to octob er1996 when I awarded the first part of the Board.
In my internship, in addition to pediatrics, medicine, general surgery, obs and gynecology, I did orthopedics, dermatology, ophthalmology, and cardiology. So I completed my housemanship successfully in 2 years .
