My main role is to engage young parents and children from all backgrounds by building their emotional resilience and self-confidence. Women Connect First aims to empower men and women from all walks of life and my role aims to help improve access to support, care and information that young parents and the youth often lack. I play an integral part in developing the project by implementing strategies to facilitate partnership working. I liaise and develop links and network with other organisations, raising awareness by organising large scale events and running training courses in order to improve the service. I also organise and participate in steering focus groups and draft partnership models.

I had overall responsibility of steering, operating and supporting high volume recruitment projects for airline services at Heathrow and Manchester Airports. Managed all budgets, ran recruitment fairs, managed staff, appraisals, provided support in all aspects within HR, telephone interviewing and Training. I headed Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing practices, designed and updated annual work plans, reports, in-house trainings, and the overall evaluation and monitoring. I liaised with clients on a global scale and managed cultural differences, worked to extremely tight deadlines and schedules, and designed and delivered regular reports.

As a qualified teacher, I also developed and designed educational programs such as the National Code of Practice and worked towards the goals of the organisation.
